^^^^^^^^Made me sad about my truck. I went out, the starter barely cranked it over, fired up and I drove around town for about an hour. Ordering a starter from RockAuto now- 78 replies

Yeah thats the plan. Moved back to Texas, currently have no place to work on this thing and its sitting up in overflow parking with a dead starter. :( I'll get some motivation for this thing when a few other things get sorted out...- 78 replies

oh, and IMHO, skip the truetrac and get a full detroit. They are the biggest disappointment and waste of time if you are spending the money for a regear. I'd get an open carrier and a lunchbox locker and save some coin before one of those things. 15x8 wheels. and check out some chevy 1500 brakelines, I'll look a part# for you, they are longer than the YJ lines and just as cheap. -

I've run the T&T stuff hard on my big jeep for 7 years now, so I'm a bit biased in leaning their direction. I know Willy, Reson46 on here has their stuff too. T&T has a killer tracbar and bracket combo and for offroad use the T&T kit has the highest ground clearance with a nicely tucked up bellypan and those nice looking Ravines ( ;) ) will have all the clearence in the world thanks to the arms. I've never liked the Clayton crossmember hanging down, but I hear good things about Clayton stuff. -
I'm going to do a roof halo with the a pillars going through the fenders, tieing into the cowl and door hinges. The B pillar, if I can, will be in the cab and going through the roof to the halo, if it doesnt fit behind the seats it'll be outside, don't really want to do that though. From the back of the roof it'll angle down sharply as possible to the shock hoop basically at the wheel wells. Nothing behind the wheel wells, that looks ghey as hell IMHO.

What? Discount won't touch a vehicle with spacers? They never said anything to me when I had my Moabs and 35s. :dunno: -
