IDK what model they are. I know they are older and thats it. I bought them for my XJ which is pretty much used offroad only but they just happened into the MJ. The side bolstering is great when you are in the seat, but not in and out. Kinda like climbing over a hip bar in a cage...

oh, and with the NV3550, you will have to trill a little where the shifter sticks up through the trans tunnel. -

I smashed my floor in with a BFH until the transfer case cleared. I don't have a 4wd shift linkage yet, thanks for that pic Pete! I used the AX15 crossmember, clutch, and flywheel. -
I have some corbeaus and I can't stand them! they are exremely comfortable and all, but the side/hip bolstering is so much and the door area is so small on these trucks that I can't hardly get in and out of the truck without getting some sort of extreme wedgy from the seat or smashing my nut on the steering wheel or hitting my head on the roof! I think they would be perfect in a car that you are getting up and out of, but not my lifted MJ that you are climbing over the bolstering.

looks like I have a head gasket in my very near future. I did a compression check and was very dissapointed with the results. The low compression across cylinders doesnt make me feel very good. #1- 100 psi #2- 100 psi #3- 105 psi #4- 105 psi #5- 115 psi #6- 90 psi I changed the oil immediatly about a month ago when I noticed the water. Since then I've put about 50 miles of town driving on it and its nothing but worse. Its parked now until it gets some mechanical attention. :wall:- 78 replies

I wanna say I have 5" up and 9" droop. I got the coils used and the other guy didnt know what they were, but I think they are Rough Country 4" coils. I'm diggin the grabbers so far. As soon as I get my front driveshaft in I'm going to air down and try them out for real.- 78 replies

Sold my Grizzly locker in the D30 and picked up an Auburn ECTED from a fellow CC member. Ordered up some new 4.10s and got it installed. While I was at it, I changed out the UCA bushings for some new ones. crummy old bushings with ovaled out bolt holes ditched the plastic vent nipple for a tapped and threaded barb new Ujoints and since its 35* outside, your beer stays cold!- 78 replies

They unbolt. you pull the foam/rubber piece out and there is one bolt holding them on. i went outside and snagged some pics of the ones I picked up. I got them for inside the coils in the rear of my XJ but they are too big to fit inside them.- 897 replies

They are pretty big but a guy in Socal chapter of NAXJA seemed to like them. They feel pretty hard to me but they have a hollow center so maybe they give. :dunno: I pulled mine off a late 90's early 2000 style blazer, not the equinox. It seemed I remember the new Trailblazer and Envoys having the same thing in the rear but I might be mistaken on that.- 897 replies

The front of my MJ is toooooo stiff.
Exxon Valdez Jeep replied to JACKED88's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Bilstein or Fox both make some nice bolt in replacement style shocks that would vastly improve ride quality. And drop brackets or LA with that much lift. Or you could lower your truck...
