  1. http://newjersey.craigslist.org/pts/2335688792.html I'd pick up the interior but can't justify spending $300. The hitch seems like a pretty good deal
  2. Called the guy last night... He scrapped the whole damn thing
  3. Sure thing. I'm gonna give him a call tomorrow. I really just want the wiring, visor, and maybe the motor and t-case. I'd probably sell everything else off.
  4. If I can get him to 400 i might just have to buy it. I'd love to get a full HO Comanche wiring harness
  5. Didn't get much time to look at it, as my buddies were in a rush. Didn't get to see what they did for a rear, due to the massive vacuum/blower (not sure which) that was on the back. Hopefully I can get down there this summer an get another look at it. Definitely an interesting piece for sure.
  6. Its actually not too bad from the cab forward. Its got a cracked windshield an no mirrors, but the interior is pretty much stock, oh an its got black interior..... :thwak:
  7. Made my way to Englishtown yesterday for the swap meet, and finally got some more pictures of their Comanche. Waiting on getting our normal computer back to upload the pictures, but for those who don't know what I'm talking about, here's the original link (Page 25) viewtopic.php?f=3&t=112&p=233542&hilit=englishtown#p233542
  8. in my opinion I would rather but a full blown bumper, for that much money you could get a really nice winch bumper from JCR. I feel warn wants way to much for that grille guard
  9. One of the mods seems to be havin a little April 1st fun. I was trying to figure out why all the "MJ's" had been turned to "XJ's" then I got the  an gave myself a  . Had me going for a while.
  10. My #1 favorite truck on the site. I can only hope that mine is half as well built as yours is some day.
  11. I'm begging you not to tear the bed off, you have one of the last MJ's built.

  13. Bringing back a semi old thread, but was wondering if anyone (I know there's not many) with a 91/92 eliminator could give me the distance of how far the eliminator decal should be placed from the door seam. Just want to get all the details squared away before I paint it.
  14. Here's his build, I love this truck viewtopic.php?f=7&t=23972

    new guy

Check the vin for a "66". That would confirm it being an eliminator

    Add a leaf

It's a full length add a leaf, supposed to be about 2 inches. I was looking towards the add a leaf for more load carrying, but I may go for the shackle, mainly due to the ease of installation

    Add a leaf

Not for an MJ, but my XJ. I've swapped leaf springs before, but never done an add a leaf. I've been looking up how to do it on, an have seen people install one with the spring still on the vehicle, and others who say the spring needs to be out to install it. Was just wondering if anyone had any input on this.
  22. I have a hitch off my 92 sitting in my shed. I think its a reese, but may very well be draw tite. If needed I could get pics/ measurements.
  23. If its still there in a few weeks, I could go take a look at it for you. I'll be in the Leesburg/ Tyson's corner area

    I wish...

Yep, I was gonna say the mirrors an the lack of doors. Other than that they're basically the same truck. I would take a 12 valve over a 24 any day though
