  1. yes, 90 was still the renix era
  2. Haven't had much luck with either. A lot of people on here have access to factory FSM's and I'm sure they would lend any needed info
  3. All I used was the radiator, overflow, an heater valve. I didn't need the t stat housing
  4. Not sure if its the same thing, but when I did my open swap I replaced that with a Heater Control Valve. The 2 are a little different, but I picked mine up at advance. I'm sure one of the auto parts stores would have the one you need.
  5. http://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/cto/2023807244.html Just saw this in the classifieds
  6. MJ's are unibody from the cab forward, so cutting the cab off would make it extremely weak. Also, I think the ford chassis would be a whole lot bigger than the comanche. If you must do the diesel swap, I would use the yota motor
  7. alright sounds good
  8. Was gonna use the 8.8 but found a 44 instead. 3.55 gears. Was looking to get 200 for it. I could bring it half way too
  9. i got an 8.8 if you want it. not sure if thats something your interested in
  10. What new jeep pick up. They aren't making one
  11. I don't know about you, but I don't wanna have the only thing holding my axle on to be something bolted on. The perches could slip or a bolt could break, an there goes the axle
  12. perches are simple. grind off the old weld new on. nothing much to screw up there.
  13. Is the 88 an auto, cause there is no 4 speed manual on the 4.0
  14. :dunce: I wondered what that wire was for, that makes it easier. Now my other problem is the evap tube that runs from the header back to the intake. How do you get that off? I had my mechanic buddy come over an we heated it an still nothing. Out of ideas besides cutting it an buying a new one if i can :dunno: . Any help with this would be appreciated
  15. Still in the process of swapping my header out. I bought a Dynomax black jack off of motion. The problem I have is on the new one the hole for the o2 sensor is on the pipe leading to the cat. The stock header has the hole right at the collector where all the pipes meet coming from the head. There is not enough slack in the wires to reach this far. Would I be able to cut the harness for the o2 sensor and splice it back together? Once again i'm out of a daily driver :fs2:
  16. I just did this, was pretty straight foward viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7695
  17. http://hellcreeksuspensions.com/ And you get a CC discount
  18. :agree: , that would probably look a whole lot better
  19. The heater control valve is brand new. Now i know where the core is, i'll try flushing it this weekend. I'll also check my coolant level. Thanks guys, hope it works
  20. Yes blower works just fine, but never warms up
  21. I was feeling the same thing. Now to figure out how to replace it :typing:
  22. Doesn't over heat one bit. Just did the open cooling swap. Need a new temp sender, cause mine isn't reading correctly, but I would say its sitting at 200/210. Everything works fine how it is, just not having heat in 30 degree weather sucks
  23. Had a little bit of heat before my accident, but now have zero. I'm sure its probably a little low on coolant, but I would still have some heat. Changing the thermostat was an idea given to me, but not sure if that would help. I'm a newb to the HVAC system an don't know much :dunce: . Any help is greatly appreciated.
  24. I would buy it if I had time, Jim buy it for me an i'll come get it
  25. Nothing new to the progress, but did pick up an XJ 44.
