  1. Photo is just for attention. Doing a power door swap and no place around here has 2-door power switches or any kind of switches. Need both doors if I'm going to do this. I don't have any harnesses so I need those too. Thanks buddies.
  2. I have a tailgate liner for you if you're in Jersey. It's from Duraliner, black plastic on the back of the gate sandwiched into an aluminum trim board that goes across the top of the gate. I don't want to ship it since its oversized.
  3. EDIT: Got em Friday with Tom. [emoji106] 5 covers for styled steel wheels wanted. Photo shows the style desired. Thank you.
  4. I've got one for the next guy who wants one.
  5. I know somebody has extras
  6. I've been looking for XJ Wagoneer corner lamps for a while. I just need the right and left amber corners, have the grille but it doesn't do much good without all the lamps. Hoping one of you guys with a secret Jeep parts yard can assist.
  7. I've got JK tail lights on mine, had considered WK tails but the JKs fit the truck better to my eye and my budget. Once I had trouble finding a decent set of MJ lights, I knew I didn't want to do it twice. I'll probably sell my MJ lamps eventually, but for now they're in a box.Did you build adapter plates to install them?Yes, similar to the guys who have installed LEDs. The width on the JK lamp is nearly identical to the MJ lamp, but it isn't as tall or deep. I did it mostly for the availability of the JK lamps, I wasn't disappointed with the visual style of the MJ lamp.

  9. Subscribed. My buddies always want to go to RCPA but I haven't been yet.
  10. Looks better than brand new.
  11. I have a ZJ quick ratio box sitting in a box, I was going to use it but I put a Durango box in instead.
  12. Didn't read the whole thread, but if you do ZJ stuff, make sure you order it for a V8. 4.0 ZJs have XJ/TJ steering. I did the ZJ steering upgrade for about $65, couldn't be happier.
  13. Did basic fab on the new electric fan for my MJ in my living room. I think my design is a little cleaner than the popular 14in fan how-to that everyone has seen, and I suspect it's much slimmer since I haven't mounted the fan to the face of the shroud. We'll see how it fits tomorrow, after I put rubber isolators on the tension mounts for the fan.
  14. I'm putting RE drop boxes on this weekend. I've been happy with everything else I've bought from them, can't imagine any other experience with RE. Just picked up some Teraflex shocks to go with the new setup, I'm going to be a happy guy.
  15. I had OME shocks on my Comanche when I got it, three years old and they were shot. Only thing I kept from them was the bar pins. Nice ZJ.
  16. Did you ever try to install the RE9905 control arm reinforcement kit? I'll be installing the drop this week on my MJ, debating if l need their extra bracket or if we should test my welding skills. Thanks A, always like seeing your updates.
  17. I'm fairly certain the 91+ non-airbag column uses a cylinder made to fit into the hole the old single sided one did. My ignition is worn and I've been considering putting a single sided cylinder in because it's only about $7 and a new Chrysler cylinder is more like $40. Cheap guy problems. If the $7 cyl fits where the $40 one goes, it will work the other way around.
  18. The Polish version is down to $165 shipped.
  19. I used Chevy 99+ round pads with silicone rubber inserts. I got them from Dorman for about $5 a pair, I have 4-leafs so it was $30. I trimmed the retainer barbs on the Chevy pads to fit the Jeep springs with a utility knife, was very easy.
  20. Any chance you could measure the length/width of the skid, and take a picture of the rear mount?33" wide 12" long 10" high Mounts with three studs to the front member and two bolts behind the sway bar. I took mine off recently because I have a sway bar drop, I'll modify it to fit around the sway bar mount soon. Broke all the hardware off, so I'm not even going to bother trying to mount it like stock.
  21. Grassy @$$ for the info. I may pick some up just to mess with them. If you're taking the springs out, might want to get new bushings in them, replace the pads on the 2nd and 3rd leafs if they're worn out, and paint them. XJ spring bushings fit Comanches, I strongly recommend polyurethane. They're much easier to install and only about $30-35 from Daystar or Energy Suspension.
  22. They look like this. They're $40 unbranded at Advance or Autozone, both stores keep them in stock. Total length between eyes is 7 inches. The shackle mount on the frame needs to be massaged a little to fit the Chevy bushing, or you can grind down the bushing in the shackles. Chevy and Ford mount heir shackles upside down so a Chevy lowering shackle lifts a Jeep.
  23. Your springs might be rotted from salt like mine were.
  24. Long as we're advocating not doing SOA, I've got 4.5in on rebuilt springs with a Superlift shorty AAL and Chevy shackles, and various Rubicon Express components up front to match. Rebuilding the springs cost me about $100 with the add-a-leaf, poly bushings, poly noise pads, Chevy shackles and paint.
