Does anyone know if the 97 + xj window seals fit without modification ? I scored some in good condition at jy today and can't seem to get them to go in Here's a pic of what I mean

That's so cool man , I know who to call once I get a overhead console with compass and everything [emoji6][emoji6] but in all seriousness how hard was it to install it ?

Also temporarily put the center console from my other mj just to see how it would look and hopefully tommorow I'll hit the jy in search of a tan center console ! Added some door speakers to her too and am very happy with how the rear and front speakers sound :) . Truck originally came equipped with only rear speakers so it's didn't have the wiring connectors or the rubber from the door that protects them but 1 jy visit later and I'm in business !

Got the seats bolted in , not the best job but it'll do for now , I'm thinking for keeping these for a little while until I can find some oem tan buckets in the future but for now these will do and I am very happy with them :)

No I wish , I have to modify or find a way to use the old brackets on them but they fit , might be a little tight fit but it fits , was going to try to get them on but it was really hot out today so I didn't get much done .

Really happy for what I paid going to have to find a way mount them but I'll get it done ! Going to use the old bench seat for my other manche which has trashed seats

Scored some Zj seats for 20$ at a small jy here in Vegas

Nice ! And Have you tried wrapping the injector with heat shield or temporarily using the old ones to see if the issue disappears ? It also possibly unplugging each injector one at a time to see if there's any diffrence in performance /idle to help determine if there's any bad injectors ?

Do you think it could be a problem with heat soak with the injectors ? Also what spark plugs did you use ? These. Engines run beautifully with the champion cooper plugs with the gap @ 0.35 , these engines might not run as well with the fancy new platinum plugs or whatever they're called

Have you checked the pulleys or harmonic balencer for play in it ? Hopefully this might help and (off topic) but your jeep looks really clean and nice and awesome ! original amc/jeep keys

Keep us updated I really hope you get her running man ! these trucks can be a pain in the @$$ but there tough and reliable once you get the little gremlins worked out . Don't give up on her man keep the progress going and convert her to 4x4 :)

When I had cleaned the dome lights I had replaced with the bulbs with new ones and now a month and 2weeks later it one of them burned out so I decided to go with LED's since I read there more resistant to vibration and moisture , hopefully it was true but I went ahead and went with it and bought 2 new bulbs

Don't forget the hub caps [emoji2]

I do have plans for the jeep in the future thought once I get funds I plan on -converting to 4 wheel drive and update and replace worn out suspension parts -replace ba10-5 with a ax15 with transfer case and external slave so I never go through the hell of replacing the slave again . - 95/96 xj booster -update and fix exhaust system - new upgrade injectors -new carpet -roll bar -black paint job -Turbines or moab wheels -Bucket seats -replace iac and O2 and cps just for preventative maintenance Rebuild 4.0 (when the time comes) My goal is to make her look like this one day The list is pretty Long and overwhelming but I can only dream and set goals for my jeep , even sometimes it is a pain in the @$$ sometimes but it makes me happy and is my therapy and This truck has so much sentimental value to me. This truck is the reason why I know what I will do for the rest of my life and the reason why I'm so into jeeps . This jeep has been a part of the family since I was five and now has been passed down to me and I WILL fix her up and make her look like the one from the picture . Might take a long time but I will get it done :)!
