  1. What flares are those? Been looking to buy a set.
  2. Awesome, that looks great is that a foldable tonneau? Whenever you get a chance I would love to get some closer fitment pics!
  3. Hi guys, wondering if anyone can get the old pics of this truck I would appreciate it. The description it says he has a tri fold tonneau cover made for a ranger wanting to see what it looks like thinking about getting same one. Thanks
  4. Not a fan of plast- dip, but do like the hydro dipping very cool and easy can get any pattern imaginable
  5. I got the 3" hellcreek in rear with RE 3.5" in front. The rear leafs actually gave me about 4.5" when new but after several hauls with atv in bed it has settled at around 4". The ride also has gotten better with time for break in,mine were never harsh, but remember they will be stiffer than 25 year old springs. I can not speak for general springs, as for Hellcreek A1 product and customer service. Not to mention the owner of the company drives a comanche and is a member of CC!
  6. Correction on the water pump and t stat he let me know he added those before I get here with the gaskets they came with.So those are correct as for everything else?
  7. Wouldn't this also mess with the quench height?
  8. Sealed power 260-1424
  9. Hi guys I'm sure someone can answer this my dad got himself a 91 mj around a month ago,to make a long story short he got the engine rebuilt by a reputable engine shop. Neways got it back yesterday so this morning went over to help him assemble the thing and noticed the rubber orings for the oil filter adapter were wrong? So I run the # on the gasket set fel-pro 260-1424 all I can find is 87-90. Now here is the kicker this is the gasket set the engine shop gave him left over from his build, so that means this shop put a renix gasket set on a h.o engine! Is this bad I mean it's obviously not good, but I guess what I'm asking is the assembled long block ok like the head, oil pan, timing cover, t stat, water pump, and valve cover. That is how he got it, can we buy another set for the adapter and exhaust/intake and be ok? Or does this thing need to be completely tore down? Thanks for reply in advance.
  10. Just to update got carpet in looks great. Try to save old carpet for template fits perfect very well molded with mass backing
  11. OP if I can find it. If interested you pay for shipping it's yours
  12. Actually you can get a kit of sorts from hellcreek. Dunno if it's something he throws in with his springs or sales separately? Either way like Don said, just as easy to make your own.Really? I didn't know that. Know what it looks like? Just a longer rod?Yea I thought I sent it to you with the proportion valve? Maybe I didn't I'll have to look for its just an all thread with ball joints on either end adjustable pretty simple. Also I'm sure ball joint is not the correct terminology, but you get the idea will try to post pics tonightJust came to me "Heim Joint"

  15. Don't have anything to compare my hellcreek 3" too but I wouldn't think there could be much better
  16. Also, I told the installers (safelite) put in a 97 windshield and trim looks good, but as I stated it crowds drip rail a little. Now that I got it done seen a buddy's 96 it had rubber trim also, just smaller so apparently they started rubber trim before 97. It looks like it would fit better, maybe someone else has some more knowledge than me, but if not like I said 97 works fine.
  17. Yes works great, though it crowds the drip rail a little at top corners, but not bad looks way better iMO
  18. Always have had good luck with standard brand
  19. Just ordered one. Tired of the stock mess!
  20. That doesn't seem like that would hold up very well?
  21. so he foamed them up then welded steel over it right, or just foam then primer? That other truck is cool, may look the build up to see how he done the hood vents.
  22. I think I like it?[emoji52] Did the PO of your truck worry about venting elsewhere. If not have you noticed any ill effects? In the link i noticed the orange truck with cab vents on hood, but no mention of them in thread? Very cool idea, I'm sure he had to cut and open up the plastic vents surely not just cosmetic?
  23. I recently saw an eliminator with shaved cab vents, it made me find this old thread. What I'm wondering is if one was to do this would you install a cab vent elsewhere, or would you let it go since our trucks aren't exactly air tight anyways?
