i never said anything about funtion thye will function fine but i just thisnk they would look odd. but its his decision and I'm sure once i see them i may like them.I'm kinda wierd like that.
just a question though wouldnt you truck become a less stable if you put "cookie cutters" on it at there would be less tier on the ground.
no offense but i think those tiers will look kinda odd on a mj. to mee mjs seem to look better with a wider tier see djm/78s for example.
just my opinion .
my atv. 1992 yamaha big bear. first some one stripped the shift shaft so insted aof replacing the shaft they welded the shifter to the shaft  . so now i can change the oil filter because the shifter needs to come off to get to it :shake: .
stripped bolts everywhere.PO mustve loved putting the bolts in cross threaded as so far i stripped the threads out of the front differental and had to replace the rear diff drain plug because it was stripped.
if i wanted to i could go on for an hour......
ive read about people making solid axel or independant active suspspended wehicles but they used hydraulic rams to do something like what he did. its more reliable but certinally not that efective. the problem here is like dirty said there hasnt been enought research into what he made. with some major tweaking it might be a whoole lot better and ablt to do more without breaking.
i don't remember but i think there may be a space between the rails and the bottom of the bed. I'm not sure though.you could definetly put the straps over the top though.
They do not serve he same purpose at all. As stated, nerf bars are for "looks"; secondarily as a step up. And yes - wannabee ghey. 8)
what i was saying is that both can be used as a step and a well built set of rock sliders can look pretty cool
our used to be brite yellow. i don't hae pics of them since i just joined last year but about 15 years ago they went back to red. fire trucks should always be red IMHO
