yea thats the problem with saftey inspections. they can and will fail you for stupid stuff

whats wrong with the old 5 spokes? it had them when you got it?

now idk about you but id rather keep good breaks and other safety related stuff on my vehicle then try to keep the emissions up to snuf. none of the vehicles I'm in close contact with will pass emissions. but i can make them pas inspection. still i wish neither were ever invented

welcome to the club :waving: first off its a dana 30 not a 35 . and gears area ll about preference. ive never played with them yet but most people agree with 4:10s being just right for 31s. so you might be geared abit high. but revving 3000 at 75 isnt tooooo bad. and you seem to be getting half decent gas milage so idk if youd want to change them or not. if you do keep them incase you ever need/want to go to bigger tires. someone else will chime in with more info as I'm just spitting out what ive learned from reading here .

also it looks likethere may be the "power /comfort" switch for an aw4 but the trucks a 5 speed.

how would u check for a vacuum leak? spray something flammable around you vacume lines . if the idle changes you have a leak i thinkthat auto 4.0 mjs came with 3:55 gears. but remember its just a thought

well its not normal for the floor to flex id definetly check the frame

they look the same but theyre smaller
