Well thanks! I really appreciate it! Iv got a lot of time invested in figuring that stuff out.. Iv got several tricks up my sleeve for the future:] And Idk... Maybe sell them. Iv had people want to buy them but iv just been to busy to deal with shipping them. I work two jobs and during the last month or so of my wife's pregnancy she has practically been bed ridden. But thankfully our baby boy was born on the 22nd and we brought him home just yesterday! If you are interested in them PM me and maybe we can work something out! I'm located in Wichita KS and can meet if you are fairly local.

I can vouch for Krustys sliders! Iv taken mine MOAB and kansas rocks as well as a Gambler 500 now and they have performed great!! I really beat them at MOAB and they support hard slams now problem! I like the looks of the angles alot... But the functionality of the striaght is nice. It's an easy step and I believe that if I had the angled ones the mirrors would have hit some rock faces at MOAB... I had some very close calls and the sliders saved me everytime.

Lookie what came in today!!! The links are solid 2" 7075. Unfortunately between work, school, a baby on the way and projects around the house the jeep has had to just sit in the garage the past month or so. But I'm hoping before the end of the month to at least have the fenders installed and ready for inner fender construction and have the new cross-member and links installed. I'd also like to have the Moonvisor installed and wired. I was able to get all the wheels and tires mounted and bolted up though! Took some practice to figure out how to mount them! This past Saturday I was able to help my buddy install an AX-15 in his factory Right Hand Drive! We got everything mounted and done except the external slave cylinder. He needs a longer cable to reach the opposite side.

Lol yeah... That's a bit ambitious! But I bet that was one hell of a road trip!! This is pretty much how she is sitting right now.. I haven't been able to do to much these past couple weeks Cuz work and life has just been busy. But my immediate plans for the next few weeks are get the flares in final fitment. Then get the IronMan4x4Fab front four link cross-member and my 2" 7075 uppers and lowers installed. Also get the moonvisor on and final fitted. Then install internal sleeves and a truss on the Dana 30 with some gussets. Eventually chromolly shafts. And the IronMan4x4Fab comes with a truss for the rear four link whenever I get that installed. Prolly several months down the road. Work on constructing some new inner fenders will begin at some point during all this. Then before MOAB next October I need to figure out a mounting solution in the bed for a hi lift, spare axle shafts, my spare, and some tools. Lots a changes coming over the course of the next year or so!! It will be one bad @$$ comanche when I'm done! Once I'm "done" with pretty much everything I want to rhino line and keep the same color scheme. Desert tan and black.

Got the sanding done on the visor today as well as the fender trimming on the front drivers side quarter panel for the flare. The flare is in its final position and ready to be fiberglassed to the quarter panel. I began the rear, the flare needs a lot of trimming itself and I'm still deciding what I wanna do for the inner fenders. I did a test fit of the new LED amber lights, they are decently bright! I beleive with the smoked lenses installed they will be just the right amount of brightness at night!

Whats your initial opinion on the cross-member?? Mine should ship out this week sometime! -
Yes it's angling down! Good eye by the the way!:] It is just sitting up there snug. When I press it into the position it will be bolted it is more flat like you say. It may also be the angle of the picture as well... Trying to fit the whole jeep in the picture is ideal the garage I gotta hold my phone at a weird angle. Yep! I agree on body color... I'm gonna do the tan with black lenses!
-
It fits on there perfect!! Nice and snug before adding the screws. It's 100% a comanche moonvisor. There are no cracks or deformities in the fiberglass. I agree with the tan... I started sanding on it tonight. I'm gonna get black smoke lenses for it and some super bright orange LED'S for the lights. I will PM you.

Soooo little update! Started fitting the Notch Fender Flares. Aaaaaaaaand I got a lighted moonvisor!:] got it for a good deal on Facebook. Sorry Dizmm... I know you've been looking for one! I couldn't pass this one up. If I come across another one I'll forward it to ya! Whay do yall think? Should I paint it black or tan?

Do you have any plans to go to Kansas Rocks or anywhere else in the near future?? -
Thanks! I appreciate it! Are you local to Wichita??

IronMan4x4Fab has showcased my MJ on their social media.... Yet all iv been able to do is have the opportunity to spend more money with them before other people do. Lol They "let" me be apart of their test program for their new front 4 link cross-member. Work hard... Save pennies. Best advice I can give you... Don't go into debt for your jeep. When I was 19 I got drunk and ordered nearly $3,000 worth of jeep stuff off of Amazon one night through my credit card. Took me 2 years to get it paid off. That's where my OR-FAB bumper, warn winch, light bar / pods and other goodies came from..lol now they are on my MJ. Give it time my friend, focus on job, education, and good things will come. I promise. I am speaking from experience.

Thats what i meant by cab forward. B pillar forward is a better description though!
-
Hello! And welcome! Sounds like you have yourself a nice find, mind positing some pictures? My suggestion on finding parts is on the for sale sections of the various forums and eBay. But alot of parts, pretty much everything cab forward is interchangeable with the XJ. You can findjust about any common items brand new. Such as rubber hoses and fittings. It may help your search to simply look for XJ specific parts when it comes to things involving the motor such as hoses and fittings. But, things like the fuel hoses and items extendeding aft of the cab will not interchange directly with XJ parts. So, measuring the lengths you need and comparing to lengths sold will help you as well. I hope that's a little useful! On another note, what are your plans for your MJ? Are you considering starting a build thread?

Lol that was gonna be my point... Iv watched people get arrested and their vehicles impounded out there. Some aussies were out their busting through the sand dunes in an old land Rover. They were fined something like $500,000. I was lived my whole life in that area until the AF put me in kansas.

Is that Pensacola Beach by chance?

Thanks Blaine! I went to MOAB and I went up every trail we went to! Went up hells gate, the escalator, top of the world and several other ones. It really suprised me just how capable it was! I am going back to MOAB next October and I have a few trips to other places planned between now and then. I'm hoping to compete in the Gambler 500 next month as well. Check out my build thread if ya have time, iv done quite a bit since MJOTM. -
So a little update! Pretty cool to say that I was lucky enough to be able to pre order IronMan4x4Fab's new adjustable front four link cross-member with 2" 7075 lowers and 1.5" 7075 uppers. This will let me stretch the front, better my ride quality, and increase my flex! Pretty cool stuff. I also have some notch customs fender flares that I am going to pretty heavily modify to mount them better than their dumb setup they have. I bought a set a few years ago for my XJ and I'm gonna use those fronts and I have rears on the way from them for the MJ. It will be a nearly identifical look and exact same suspension setup in the front as JCR's Sema Comanche! Eventually I will do their rear! But I just don't want to fool with the rear just yet.
