What's the proper term for the fasteners that hold the liner up inside the front fender? I've got new liners but can't find the fastners to hold them in. Plastic rivet.

There was a club member that used to post a lot from Lewisville, hav'nt seen anything recently from him. His name was Koltan on his posts. I lived in Lewisville years ago, you could find someone back then by just asking someone if they knew them. I don't think that's his truck on craigslist, the seller might know him. Koltan seemed like he knew his way around these trucks, if he is still around he might give you some good advice. Denton was'nt that far from Lewisville.

I run 10/30 in my shortbed 88, 284,000 miles. I live at 7,000 ft. in northern arizona, summertime I'll switch to 10/40 , also run some dura-lube once a year. Castrol is the only oil used in my 88, l never asked the p.o. of my 89 what oil he used, I run Castrol in it also. And Wix filters. I would think 5/30 would be a must in Canada.

When I put turbines on my 88, I used the lugnuts off the stock white spoke wheels. The crimped lugs had been replaced long ago with some from Discount Tire and they worked just fine.

Reading the specs on that dorman part it looks like it's for a HO 4.0. From what I have read they won't work on a Renix.

When my cattle dogs were pups there was a big bull snake(non-poisonous) that lived under my horses water barrell. He gave them a good scare a few times, now they are very careful when they see one. Never have encountered any rattlesnakes on the property, but they are around. The chickens ranoff the bull snake, hav'nt seen any snakes for a while.

Yes that looks good. I picked up a front skid plate at the jy, that's when I saw the condition of the cross member. No way to get the three front bolts on.

My front radiator support has been damaged by what looks like a tow hook. Is the support bolted to the frame ? I saw a picture of one on Amazon, it looks like it should bolt on.
