  1. Blazer lights are not factory . The only 'factory ' lighting was the ROL fog lamps and the Marchal fog-lampsand then in the early 90s they switched to a fog lamp that resembled the ROL lights . I believe Eagle said the the K.C . Lights were also factory but I'm not sure of that as I've never seen them on one
  2. Well I made it !! I left about 6 am and got home 6:45 pm so 12hours instead of ten hours . Only issue I hadwas going up steep grades the aw4 trans would puke a little fluid out . It's still full but I think the front seal is going . I'm too tired and it's to dark to do anything anyhow . Thanks for the offer mjeff87 and everyone else for your input .
  3. I have the blanket , coat , cooler with food a drinks , no chock though . I can probably impervize if need be . It's going to be 34 degrees so hopefully I'll be fine .Thanks
  4. Yes or else or i would have taken the WJ or XJ. Too big to fit inside .

  6. I'm taking the MJ tomorrow on a 5 hour each way journey . I've got a tool kit , spare tire , extra fluids etc . Just seeing if you guys recommend taking anything else that I didn't think of bringing along . Thanks in advance .
  7. I work in -10* to -30* F everyday in the freezer . Anything above 35 * feels like summer . And the bonus in the summer is going there to get cooled off on the hot days .
  8. The bolts are m10 x 1.5
  9. To the OP : "TheDude" has a for sale post with both the front and Axles ( Dana 30 /35 ) for $50 each with a 3.07 ratio . He's located in Pittsburg .
  10. The aisin aw4 was used in toyota trucks , I believe that's what he's referring to .
  11. You've already replaced how many 2.8s? How much money and time have you spent ? In the long run it's cheaper to do it right the first time . Were just trying to help . 10 years later and I'm still on the same 3.4 and trans .
  12. Wow , haven't seen them in awhile . Those emblems are aftermarket paint protectors meant to stop the key from scratching the paint . I believe they were meant to be put on a oldsmoblie .
  13. I've gotten to the point I only want to do a job once .
  14. You're at the lower end of the allowed compression 120-150 ( I don't know when the cutoff is that the engine will not run at all) . Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if your timing jumped your engine would have much lower compression numbers . I'm not saying the chain / gears don't need replacement but as eagle said: air, fuel ,spark .
  15. I might have a couple lying around Cody . Or Daveys .
  16. Not only a beater but something a bit cheaper . $5300 and reserve not met?
  17. Save yourself and swap in a 3.4 out of a 94 Camaro . I learned that lesson after replacing the 2.8 twice with junkyard engines and after that a reman 2.8 in my 86 s-10 blazer . The blocks are the same and a direct bolt it .
  18. It should be attached to a bracket on the bellhousing bolt , but you can attach it with a cable tie at the highest reachable point away from the exhaust .
  19. That is a vent hose for the transmission . it is supposed to be routed To the top of the bellhousing where it meets the engine .
  20. I'm not sure if this is the entire part number as I no longer have the boxes . 4713404 and 4713405 according to the old eBay listing. They came from Collinsville Indiana . I remember it saying 92 Comanche sport decal on the boxes . I might be able to get ahold of the person I sold them to for more info . He has old faded decals on his 92 mj with 76 k original miles .
  21. Yes I think they were 55004371 and 4370 but I'm at work now . I can check when I get home for sure
  22. You're about three weeks late . I just sold a pair of NOS decals exactly like the ones you have . Youcan get them remade at a graphics place though
