  1. Used V8 ZJ springs will have probably sagged a little over time but will probably be good for 1", your best bet is to look for ZJ V8 Up Country springs which are stiffer as well as 1" taller than regular V8 ZJ springs and would offer a nice handling improvement for your loaded down MJ.
  2. I'm pretty sure the flywheel Od for the bushing is the same and the bushings will interchange, might be wrong though.
  3. I did a YJ's clutch yesterday, opposite problem though cause the locating dowels were rusted to the transmission. I had to come along it to the rear axle to get it off. About to do the rear main today, fun. I shouldn't mention it cause you've probably done a million of these, but by chance are you trying to stab a later big shaft ax15 into the 90'? Have the right pilot bushing in? From Novak, "1988 to 1991 AX15 input shafts have a smaller (~19/32") pilot tip. 1992-1999 AX15's have a larger (~3/4") pilot tip."
  4. You Yankees take your arctic vortex back up north where it belongs...I'm getting tired of this mess, I even had to wear a jacket today. :fs1:
  5. I think we need Johnny!
  6. Nice Topper!
  7. I almost agree with you Don, but they're still America's Team, always will be. Personally I think Jones banked too much on the stadium and too little on "the right" players. They're a great group of players, but not quite a great team for one reason; a lack of consistency. Sure they'll whoop some of the bad teams but its always a toss up against a good team. Usually if they win against a good team they don't really "beat" them, they simply outscore them. Then when they get to the "must win" game, they usually lose. Its not all Romo's fault, he has put up HOF level stats. By stats alone, he's the best QB in Cowboy history, but he has always struggled to get the decisive win. That's a team and coaching issue. The management of the team is another issue. Jones treats the organization like a family and puts a high value on loyalty. The players often mention the Cowboys as a family.....Sometimes it seems he values that loyalty that higher than winning. On the macro level, it looks like he's treating the last 5 years since 07' (when they peaked IMO) as a rebuilding period where he's trying to grow the team from within more so than just buying the best players. I think its because the stadium cost so dang much. I'm not privy to their books, so idk. I think there's only a few personnel changes that need to be made and they'll be competitive again. Could be the QB, coach or staff, who knows? I think they should start with linebackers and the secondary.
  8. I sat in a Trailhawk model with leather seats. I must say, they are the most comfortable seats I've ever had the pleasure of parking my bum in. The interior is refined, luxurious and functional. I think they really took reins from the GC and took the bar a little further. Best vehicle interior on the planet right now is the Overland GC, next is the new Cherokee Trail Hawk. The high end luxo Jap and Euro cars don't even come close. BMW, Lexus, etc, all of them just got lapped in the interior dept.
  9. I thought that was cute, but you may be right,,,could've been supper. :rotf:
  10. Update....the youngest has her own business "sorta", she cleans house and dog sits for several neighbors. She even made up her own business cards. Found these ads and I think I've convinced her mother its time for a dog. I love hounds and LGD Dogs, there's some beagle, bassett mixes and what looks like a Pyrenees mix nearby. http://savannah.craigslist.org/pet/4251809240.html http://savannah.craigslist.org/pet/4246488547.html savannah.craigslist.org/pet/4250737015.html
  11. Amen... I'll take more ammo please sir! On the concert idea, The Band Perry is coming to town, they might like that, me not so much....but Don Williams is coming to town followed by Willie Nelson, then Gregg Allman (who btw lives about a mile away from me)....tough choices.
  12. concert, good idea!
  13. Need help fellas on something original for my "Lil bRats". They're 11,12 & 13. They're cute and I love em, but they're strange little creatures I don't always understand and time is running out.
  14. Sorry man, gotta be tough...
  15. Now lets see you do it twice in a row... :D
  16. There's two comanche owners here on the coast...
  17. BTW, I do have an extra set of silver stars.
  18. So is the 5.9 all that silverstars came on? Because I'd do anything short of murder for a set. They came on 5.9 ZJs, but also on select later model XJs. I don't know which models... IMO they're the best looking Jeep wheels, on par with a shiny set of turbines as the best Jeep wheels ever....
  19. Thanks man,,,,,,Yup, the black ZJ is my dd, the Platinum ZJ has a vortech V1 super charger, cam, eddy headers, M1 intake, 3" pipes. Its pushing at least 450 hp,,, I bought it from a wrecked 5.9, then bought another 5.9 ZJ with a bad motor.....I've got about $1000 into it (375 for the motor donor, $600 for the recipient 5.9)....cheapest 4 wheel burnouts you can buy...but it needs a fuel pump, injectors and a tune, then I'll sell it. It does has some idle issues right now.... Gotta unload it soon,,,,I need $ to finish my 51' Willys.
  20. In person, the new color makes the truck look a lot smaller, weird.
  21. Thanks Guys! That's an Oath Keepers sticker. The stars, the fender lettering and the Eugene stickers are vinyl I had made at a local print shop.
  22. Should have done this long ago...Still have to put my front flares back on, but I've got another set of fenders and rear MJ flares I'm gonna use.
  23. Overdue and well deserved. Beautiful truck!
  24. I have a chrome Fey bumper for a short bed that needs a good home. The boss has instructed me to reduce "Jeep *&^% laying all over the #@$!'in place.
