cute wiring harness pete. :D -
:D :D :D I think you mean WJ here, not Libby . Damn, you almost made the guy castrate his truck. :D :D :D yea my bad, I thought about that when i posted, thats why i put IIRC, DOH! IFS. balls right down the tube. :D my bad, musta been :chillin:

no extra spring packs, i was thinkin about disasembling an exploder and pulling the packs. then down the road get the JCwhitney stock ones, or maybe alcans or something.
-
you must have been confused, he said the coolest rig, not the COLDEST driver. :nanner: just kiddin, i don't think i can even begin to make a list, it would have to have a clean trucks category and a chopped category though, and heading up each list would be YJ2MJ (the clean gray truck) and either pong or brett. EDIT: when's she gonna be on 42s! inquiring minds wish to know.

Correction: Wheels are stamped 25.4MM inside, which equates to 5.5" BS, not offset, I think. Pls. correct me if I'm wrong. Just curious if these will clear the LCAs up front. you could always run a liberty LCA IIRC, they curve inwards to clear the rims.

Difference between trim packages
Oizarod115 replied to once red's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
my sportruck has a tach... just like he said. the "station wagon wheel" has a sort of trapeziod shaped center, taller than it is wide, and two wide supports that go out to the wheel at about 4 and 8 oclock. i might have a pic lemme look. -
Stupid ? - How do I get the spare tire down?
Oizarod115 replied to ChiefJosh's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs

my sportruck came with full gauges, 4.0, 4x4, no carpet (to my knowledge) bench seat, and A/C. but ive got the crappy flag style mirrors, (ive got two of them though) and the "stationwagon wheel" -
Ya got two right, one close, and one way off... alright, lets try again, after a closer look. the one in the garage was SORELY mistaken, is it a viper? and hmm.... its gotta be a dodge truck, idk what though, not good with dodges. know its not a superbee hahaha.

New to forum, looking at a 88 manche
Oizarod115 replied to whatis42's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
the manual tranny is kinda weak for 87-mid 89 manches, the auto is a beast though. however if you're good with a wrench a strong replacement tranny is readily available and cheap to u-pull. other problems... rust? idk how CA is about rust so I'm not sure if thats an issue for you. check the floors though cause the carpet retains water. alot. other than that... they all have their own little demons, but what jeep doesnt? -
hell yeah man, have a safe trip, happy flying, or controlling. :USAflag: we'll be thinkin of ya, and can't wait til you get back. ill be installing my lift around that time, so you may never see me stock :brows:  thanks to you and the other USAF guys :USAflag: :USAflag: :USAflag:

auto parts stores carry rubber tubing stuff that you can buy thats DIRT CHEAP and use that to cover the bare edge of the cut... looks factory if you cut it in a decent pattern and not a big circle. my brothers is done like this, he had problems with the bare metal cutting into his meats while flexed, problem solved. it looks just like a little black lip around the edge. real clean.
-
now you can run OBA from the pump. the modding never stops.. the a/c system is just to useful in peices for me to actually want cold air. :brows:
-
i spy 2 mustangs, a manche, and a SRT ram. i'd be willing to have a 10k driveway for those rides!
-
lug patterns don't match unless its an MJ one... I'm DEFINATELY not running a CJ AMC20. plus aftermarket support for the 44 is better, i know i can get an ARB with 35spline chromollys in my 44. granted at 35 splines i would be more worried about the r&p... id rather change a shaft than have no r&p
-
she is one beautiful truck... i know i felt bad when i put the first dents in my truck... got wedged up against a tree pullin my brothers arse out. ah well, it was bound to happen sooner or later... just happened to be the first weekend i had it. :brows:
-
that's true... most of the cars end up blowing tranny lines and such... but there is one team on there that ive seen in at least 3 episodes running a 5-0 that (knock on wood) has never had any issues
-
so wait... now you think i should swap my 44's gears for 4.10s?? i highly doubt that ill ever find that setup... itd have to be a manche wouldnt it? becuase not all XJs had 44s in 87-88 i doubt i'd find that setup.
-
nothing wrong with the JK... my problem lies with the COMPASS, and the new trailhawk concepts. WTF is that?!!?! it looks like someone smashed their dodge into a jeep a few times then took both of them, uglied them up a little, and stuck the peices together to produce a beater. ugh. the commander is decent though, i like it.

Rubicon Long Arm install ???
Oizarod115 replied to jslamerman's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
maybe they meant it won't fit with certain trannys... i know the AX and the BA10 used different positions on the frame for the crossmember... that would certainly make it not work right.
