  1. Pics of the seats only, and or install pics? It's good to see non jeep seat options for our MJs.
  2. Blanks, no more kids for me.... :rotf:
  3. So cool to see so many members whose trucks are older than they are, proof of a cult like following for our cool little MJs.
  4. Charlie Brown
  5. As the title says. Might even be interested in an XJ one as we have many in our tribe. Cheyennes, Comanches and Cherokees lol...
  6. Might be too old to sign up, but I'm definitely not too old to do that, so where do I sign up? Nice....
  7. I aint putting my Gloria cap on, but over the years working in the construction field I have come across a few women who could hold there own against many men. Besides their differences in plumbing, many of them were way more dedicated reliable and a lot better employees than some of the men. Something about bearing children that men will never understand. Myself, being mom and dad for my daughter, I sympathize with them. Granted a submariner has always been a traditionally male role but look at where we are at as far as humanity, and technological advances, we have the best war machines in the world, I'm pretty sure that a woman call pull the trigger same as a man when the time comes. To say that a submariner (woman) couldn't, wouldn't,won't does disservice to those that earned their dolphins and those crew that are on those boats who have to have trust and rely on every other qualified crew member (those that wear the dolphins) to keep them alive. Don I know you aren't saying smack (hope not anyway) just a change of times, tradition, I think women, properly trained will do just as good a job as a man if not better when the time comes. I say give them a chance.
  8. BTW, I hate Rob, best lookin wife/GF, most desirable parts collection..... Probably gonna go to hell for this one... Thou shall not covet another mans spare Jeep parts collection....lol
  9. I found I can tolerate her if she lives in her own house, tried living with her once, lasted less than a month before I threw her out. I'll see if I can find a pic of her to put up later, or take one of her, that is if I can get her away from the trough long enough to smile :laughin:
  10. You need a Renix cluster - pre 91, 91 and up are HO which are electronic. And yes you need an early cluster, and not sure if color differences are a good indicator, but for sure you need one with the mechanical speedo drive.
  11. Might be interested in buying it (visor) if it won't work for you.
  12. Pfhttt....and here I thought this thread was about the GF's jealousy and hatred of my Jeep addiction. Now if it was, I could tell of her rantings like "and how much did that cost?" or "I aint buying you Jeep parts for Christmas, you'll look good in a nice new wool sweater" :wall: and yeah....
  13. Like a #40 Torx screw driver for a crowbar that your other most useful tool said was a good idea. :rotf:
  14. I had a free one that I used for parts a few yrs ago.
  15. Air compressor by far, once I started using air tools it was like getting a big screen TV, thought of saying somethin witty here but changed my mind  you know the deal...lol
  16. Kind off topic but I always ask for price breaks at motels, and is one of the reasons for ordering over the phone when I could just as easily ordered from their website. "penny saved is a penny earned" Doesn't take many nickle and dimes to add up to a dollar, or in our world ones fives and tens to Make a Franklin. HA! Just found the rest of the emoticons
  17. How do I put the "banging my head on the wall" emoticon up? lol
  18. Wonder if I could get the GF to do somethin like that on her front....
  19. I see that your conversion would be for a 97 up console, wonder what my options are for the older console? Maybe this is where onyx used the ZJ/WJ? Hand lever?
  20. I seen on powerblock: to keep POR - 15 after opening the can, clean the lid and can, use plastic from a plastic bag between the can and lid, then fill the can with butane (before sealing lid) from a hand torch (unlit) since the POR - 15 cures in the presence of oxygen, the butane displaces the O2 and because it is heavier, keeps it from curing. Never tried it, but sounds legit.
  21. Time = $$ With the amount of time in this, they could have bought the rest of one from HF. Structurally with 2x4s....I don't know.... maybe if it (the boom) was 2x6 and oak...
  22. In the beginning, before they went into the governors compound.
  23. XJ lever, from a newer XJ?
  24. I think this is how it was done on project onyx? And I don't think the handle is under the dash, but in the console like in a stock XJ but with the MJ cable routed to it.
