Well its time to go get the 89 4.0 auto that runs down the road if its still there for parts asking $600.00. The addiction has started when you decide its time to own your second one!!!

Keep checking ebay a set just ended for around 430.00 of course sometimes theY sell for 150.00. There are a couple in yards by me if you still need them I could see how much they want and mail them.

Maybe start calling his work place over and over send some letters to his work place stating what happened also. If his is this dishonest he may be stealing parts there to sell. don't be soft make his life h__L.

My dads old dodge truck would do this and sometimes just quit completely in the rain. It was the electronic pick-up in the distributor.

I was at a shop in central pa today just received a shipment of 250 bulk (loose) I think federal ball 9mm. I think it was around $125.00 a box. If any club members want any I could ship some for a small fee like $10.00 box for my time and actual shipping priority flatrate probably around $10.00 insured then you would have paypal fees or moneyorder would be fine and pa tax is 6%. If anyone is interested I will get exact details. There supposed to be getting more calibers in and some PP ammo next week. Not a box of 45 or 40 to be had though.

Are you looking for factory type weld in replacements? If so A guy on ebay sells exact weld in rockers for like $50.00 USA made with USA 18 guage steel. They are EXCELLENT and they are made for the comanche not cherokees so no waste.

Been going on for a while I looked at some 40 s-w ball ammo at the local hardware last week it was $30.00 a box. The good self defense ammo is even harder to find and pushing 2.00 a cartridge. Any one need any 380 I have some left and no gun?

The 500 has the most choices for pistol grips, barrels, combat stocks etc. With the price of ammo who`s going to use much 3 1/2 heck around here most calibers are sold out mainly the odd or high power stuff. I just installed the firefox and then the add blocker add on for it and those sponsored adds on ebay are all gone and its running great! Just have to learn the new format which is no big deal.

WTH, I just checked on Team Cherokee and about fell of the chair at the prices for these! Any one know of any where reasonable? The yards in my area would want just as much as these are new if you could get them to go out and remove no pick and pulls around here.

Its not to bad a fix probly took me about 2 hours at the most and I am not a whiz mechanic. I tried to find the post but no luck maybe some one else has it bookmarked and can chime in. If you want to learn more search Blow by in the search section lot o reading.

Hi, I had the same problem which is very common on these early 4.0. I did the same cleanout you did and replaced all the cvc lines going to the intake and still no fix. I found a post on here where a guy replaced the valve cover with a 97 and up 4.0 as they have a full length baffel not the towers as in the old ones. I used a 2002 steel cover got it of ebay like 20.00 but you do have to use the newer type gasket to match the valve cover EXPENSIVE. Also will have to do some changing of the vacum lines. If you get a cover make sure it has the gromets and inserts to put your new hoses on. You will also have to change the size of the brass nipple on the intake to match the large breather hose on the newer cover. There is a nice write up on here if I can find the link I will post it has pictures and details much better than I can explan. Oh and yes this was 5000 miles ago and not a drop of oil in the box.
