  2. WOW looks great how much was it?
  3. I know where theres a couple in a yard how hard are they to remove and what tools do I need? I may be heading up there soon.
  4. We are both on the same coast so shipping might not be to bad I will check to see if I can help ya any. The drums are not here there at my dads any one know what one weighs?
  5. I have a set in decent shape I would have to measure them before you spend the money on shipping just to be sure there within limits (should be fine). Yours for shipping plus $5.00 for my time.
  6. Buy it take anything usable off and scrap it and get most of your cash back and still have parts to sell or use.
  7. Agree, sounds like its off a tooth.
  8. I never did get the template out went Monday and the post was closed and forgot today. Now it sounds like you guys have this under control. Jacked88 do you still want the paper template?
  9. Congrats to both of you!
  10. Sorry also guys I have been dragging my feet. Pattern will be in the mail Monday to jacked88 as discussed and anyone else that wants a pattern to compare to what they already have. I am going to go to my friends shop and see if him or his cad guy will make us a complete drawing also.

  12. I have a extra set (if I can find them) that another club member never sent money for. They are decent but someone glued the back up light sockets in they used epoxy. $25.00 plus shipping for the pair.
  13. Welcome :waving: everytime I drive my truck its like a big magnet I almost get hit. I take out my mega rusty 99 cherokee no one comes near it.
  14. When looking for the window wipes seals keep in mind the insides seals are always better than the outside. The inside pass side wipe fits on the outside of the driver side. The inside from the driver side fits the outside of the pass side. Look for a 4 dr Cherokee in the junkyards there the same.
  15. Check and clean all the grounds to the block and firewall.
  16. I found a truck in a yard that has a excellent bed but has been it hard in front of the rear wheel. This thing has NO rust orig paint perfect cab corners rockers and wheel openings. He said for under $100.00 I can cut off what I need. If I buy a 18V dewalt cordless sawzall will I be able to cut all this off? I also thought of bumming a generator and using corded power tools. I hate to see this get crushed infact he said he would wait till I was done. I have never done anything like this.
  17. Do you still need the plastic under the back window the truck I have been getting parts from has this in black everything else is grey. I do not know when I will get back but I need to cut the wheel arches and cab corners from it.
  18. If these are for your MJ the seats may work but not the XJ sliders you will either need MJ bucket seat bases for sliders or use the MJ bench seat brackets adapted to your XJ seats. Some seats sit higher in the MJ like the ones with the rocking chair type bottoms. Some seats will have rivets holding the bases on also they have to be ground off and bolts put in when you swap the bases. I use true MJ bucket bases and 91 XJ 2 door buckets (2 door seats tilt forward for access behind the seat) and all were bolted on so I had them in the truck in less than I hour. I am not a expert though so maybe someone on here can add some more info.
  19. Dam mine were that much and were all black no color.
  20. I miss it also sometimes infact just last week I bought a old war time logan 10" lathe got it loaded with modern tooling for $250.00. Could not pass it up for that.

I paid 50.00 for the hitch and 35.00 bumper and as of now there going on mine.
  22. Not a problem I may not get it out till Monday as I am working weekend. I am or at least was at one time a machinist so anything you need from this I can get. I will do it on hard thin cardboard and get some other dims for ya also. And the shipping is on me. I also have (I think)a old hitch off a Ram I was going to use to make mine. I can burn the ends of it and you can have the tube for the the shipping if you don't want it first dibs gets it.
  23. I just picked up a pretty clean draw tite at the local yard. Its laying in the bed of my truck so if need anything from it just let me know.

    Scored!

Never gave that a thought I would rather have it original and the dents are not that bad.

I was bored yesterday and starting calling local yards for MJ parts yesterday. The second one says yeah we have one first thing I asked for was the hitch he says sure and a decent bumper also. Well I went today 88 short bed (decent and quite rust free short bed) grey bucket interior in nice shape. Very nice draw-Tite hitch and a rust free painted silver rear bumper although it has some dents. Thinking of covering the dented areas of the bumper with steel sheet and adding d rings to cover up the dents. I took some pics but photo bucket must be screwed up.
