  1. I know it is a bit of short notice. Hoping a few of us CC Members can be there. https://www.kemptontrain.com/jeep-show/
  2. Sounds like a Great Night Out!!!!! I Know I am looking forward to it!!!!
  3. I have an authentic Lund, took a few years to find. What you have looks to be an Excellent piece!!!!! Very Nicely Done!!!
  4. OK tazjeeper, So who are the Manufacturers of the Toppers that you have?? I just may get out there to get one, but it has got to be the right one. You said you have some that were made to fit the MJ Correctly. Hows about the List of them??
  5. I would like to get my paws on some. Maybe a dozen or so.
  6. Looking Really Good!! I Know I am Really Interested in getting them in My Paws & On my Vehicles!! Would most likely want to get at least 10
  7. While I like the Cap, I would Like to Know, Did Glasstite make a High Rise Cap for Comanche Longbeds?? I would like to get my hands on a Glasstite Cap, like what is in the 2nd pic. (Minus the attached Brackets) Yes, I have other plans, in the parts gathering stages, for my MJ. Taken November 2015
  8. There are a number of places to get the Mirror Glass. Local Glass Shops are good, and are able to do the Install with some Warranty. I have gotten a few of them already.
  9. All I can say, about your "Cheapo Swap" is DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! Make sure the Shocks are Length and Mount Correct. As for the Springs, Make Sure of the Capabilities and Specs of the Springs and Shocks you are looking to put in!!!!! Weight Ratings and Lengths are able to be found, from multiple sources. From what I can see, in your Pics, the Bottom Pairs of Springs and Shocks ( Pin Mount for Top Mount), look as to be a Possibility for the Front. The Rear Shocks, WRONG UPPER MOUNT. MJ has Loops on Top & Bottom Mounts. MJ Rear Springs Won't Work.
  10. I have the same Center Caps. Have gone to Parts Yards, Gotten some at Swap Meets, Got some when getting more Wheels. Have not ever seen them available from any Retail or Wholesale source. Had a "Friend" working at a Mopar Dealership, tell me "No Longer Available". Now their Parts Availability only goes back to 2001. My Only Thought, besides where I Mentioned, Should you have a Friend, working in a Body Shop, or a Restoration Shop, Ask them for Help in Locating the Sleeve "Clip" for it.
  11. Summit Racing has a "Performance Header" listed at about $250. Something I have been thinking about.
  12. Yes, I still have my 89 MJ. I had butchered the brackets somewhat, to be able to use the "Curved" track. The Rear of the Driver's Side of the MJ's Bench Seat Bracket, only has the Outside Floor Mount. I had to get the Bucket Seat Brackets, as my Bench Brackets were shot.
  13. The Bench Seat Rear Mount on the Driver's Side, does NOT have the Correct Mounting to be used for a Bucket Seat.
  14. Look at the drawings of the Mounting Brackets I posted. The Bucket and Bench Brackets are Clearly Different.
  15. Lower Front Mount is the Same, The Rear is Different on the Driver's Side. Seat Mounting Tracks, are Not the Same for Bucket and Bench Seats.
  16. MJ Brackets, are NOT the Same as XJ Brackets!!!!!!!!!!!!! MJ Buckets Seat Brackets are NOT the same as MJ Bench Seat Brackets!!!!!!! The Front Mount may be the same, but the Back Mountings are NOT!!! In Addition, the MJ Bench Seat Brackets, do NOT have the Second Seat Slide Track for Bucket Seats!!!!!! Take a Good Long Look, You will see, MJ Bucket Mount Track is DIFFERENT than MJ Bench Mount Track. Say I am wrong, you gotta be some special kind of Stupid.
  17. Guys, Get the FACTS STRAIGHT!!!!!! MJ Bucket Brackets are NOT the same as Bench Brackets!!!!!!!!!!! MJ Seat Brackets are Unique unto themselves!!!!! I KNOW this, I had to get the MJ Bucket Brackets for mine!!!! Have the SAME SEATS!!!
  18. I picked up a folding one, Cheap, but Very Effective. Similar to this https://www.amazon.com/Big-Ant-Windshield-Protector-Sunshade/dp/B071CSXG3W/ref=sr_1_9?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1529468985&sr=1-9&keywords=windshield+sunshade
  19. Hey DirtyComanche, Like I said in my post, NAPA Chart is for STOCK. As for the Bumpstops, I have yet to meet anyone dumb enough, who doesn't know enough to get an Extended Bumpstop when Lifting. 4 Wheel Parts (https://www.4wheelparts.com/ ) Sales people seem to be knowledgeable enough, to ask about the Bumpstop when someone orders the Shocks for a Lifted Vehicle. I know they asked when I was talking to them.
  20. GrayWolf, Do you have any info for the Seat Bracket Kit yet?? I am interested in it. I want to weld it myself.
  21. Look at all of the Lift Threads here Before You Order a thing!! Prices can vary from 1 Company to another. Shocks can be found to fit your lift. My Best Advice..... Do You Research. Better to make changes Before getting the Parts. Make Sure you have all parts on hand, First. Good Luck & Have Fun!!
  22. You NEED to Remember, The MJ Leaf Springs ARE NOT the Same as the XJ. MJ has Longer and Heavier Capabilities, compared to the XJ. Length and Axle Location are Both DIFFERENT!!!!
  23. You can either run to the Parts Yards, Or Adapt a New Spare Tire Hoist to fit your ride. I have done the route of Adapting a New one. Works fine.
  24. According to the NAPA website........ Stock Shock Specs are... Shock Compressed Length 14.375 in. Shock Dust Shield Yes Shock Extended Length 23 in. Shock Travel Length 8.625 in. You stated that you have a 4in. lift. Basics are, add the lift height to the Length Dimensions. However, 4 Wheel Parts (https://www.4wheelparts.com/ ), has Listings, according to Lift Height.
