MiNi Beast replied to LEAD_NOT_FOLLOW's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
Nice build up thus far. Nice to see really, Working on same set up for mine. Like the paint job. Debateing weather on not have it done at a shop or do it myself, Yours looks good enough for me. Gonna scratch it anyways so why waste money on that and put it in the engine. Lookin good man, be sure to show the setup of the longarms. -

Could get extra door locker/strickers and weld them on doors was going to do that. Also that's what seat belts are for, to hold you in. I like the doors open so that I can spot easily. I'm having a mess wrap with design/truck name made up to put on doors to clean them up better. I have had the cops give me thumps up going down the highway here in MI. They seem to like the truck with the doors. -

Bad Vibrations between 35-45 MPH
MiNi Beast replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I can tell you right now it won't be the tranny mount. But check this before throwing more parts at this. Rule of thumb is if figure out problem area then first check area of last area you fixed. Get it? A gimme that things where out, but doing a major job like this and that be the area the problem arises in whold have been the first place to check. I didn't check mine being never messed with gears but you have so. But hope it isn't the problem due to time and money if it is the problem but would check there. -

Bad Vibrations between 35-45 MPH
MiNi Beast replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
have u pulled your diff cover off and looked at your gears at all? Just a thought thought if they are slightly off they will leave some wear. I had bad vibe with my old D35, thought was an worn out u joint so replaced it but still there, got worse as I drove it being dd, so brother had me check the diff and found 10 teeth missing from the ring. not saying you have missing teeth, but would check at least, being last major fix, have to watch that gear lash. -

I believe the output shaft has different count splines. but thinks it's possible to swap the shafts out. The ax 15 has a 23 count spline. so tcase has to able to accept that. Maybe understand?

Help with tranny Mount postition?
MiNi Beast replied to MiNi Beast's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
yeah but like you said holes are close but not quite there. Thought maybe drilling out holes to be bigger then putting bolts and bigger washer on the fanise it to the frame. But if you see in pic the crossmember is still in ax-15 position so it will fit. Cause if I move crossmember forward to front holes the mount won't line up. See if I had a pic of one that's correct I could firure it out. -

Help with tranny Mount postition?
MiNi Beast replied to MiNi Beast's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Tranny is mated with original tc never divorced. The cross member can be moved forward but the problem is the attachment part to the tranny that is messed up and don,t line up with the bolt holes. As you can see in pic.
