I didn't see mention of what rear axle you have. Do NOT spend any cash on upgrading a Dana 35. Find a worthwhile axle (44,8.8,8.25) and invest you money into something that will last. :thumbsup:

lift blocks in an SUA configuration will lower your truck, not raise it. :thumbsup: blocks were never in the cards. given any thought to a 3" lift with full lift packs? got a budget for everything yet? also, how much freeway travel will the truck be doing?

how much lift do you think I will have with a soa and stock sb 89 4x4 leafs? 5-6.5 inches depending on the condition of the leafs and the perch used. follow up question, why are you contemplating that much lift?

what year is the MJ? what drivetrain did it have previously?

hopefully you can get away with just cleaning up the insides of the connector. :thumbsup: Mine was horrific so I ditched it and spliced in an aftermarket connector.

yes. it could be glitching just the left turn indicator which would kill both the indicator and that side of the brake lights. also check for any evidence of a trailer harness hacked in at the back.

there is a connector in the wire harness right behind the drivers side tire. Corrosion in there robbed me of brake lights for a while. :(

Dana 35 eh? what gear ratio? what size tires are you planning to run? My perches are nothing special and the only wheel hop I've experienced was on a real long full-throttle gravel-ly uphill climb. I have added a second main leaf to my packs. don't under any circumstance remove the big overload leaf. it goes a long way towards controlling 'wrap and doesn't inhibit travel. :thumbsup:

I wouldn't go too nuts over it. I remember a guy a couple years back that had a slight height difference. he went to the extent of swapping the springs left to right and got no change what-so-ever. :dunno:

Not sure of you simply used the generic name, but "carb cleaner" should not be used in the throttle body of a vehicle with an o2 sensor. You need to use a "throttle body" cleaner or a carb cleaner specifically labled as o2 sensor safe. :thumbsup: Is the catalytic converter all plugged up?

don't forget to replace your u-joints. :thumbsup: they don't like changes in their operating angle and can cause vibrations.

yes. for every inch of lift, the shackle needs to be 2" longer than stock. so a chevy drop shackle that raises the MJ up 2" will be 4" longer than stock. if I remember right, stock is like 5.5".
