  1. technically you don't need the tags at all anymore with the new software. just click on the image button above your text box (little greenish square) and paste the address in the pop up box.
  2. likely was getting a ton of spam for an IP to be banned like that. :dunno:
  3. drop shackles for a chevy pickup will give you a small bump in lift.
  4. if it makes you feel any better, I can't mail the next batch out til saturday (will be out of town).
  5. 19 down... 281 left to go...
  6. first batch goes out monday. :D
  7. supposedly the high altitude one is supposed to give more power at lower elevations. :dunno:
  8. the official Mopar replacement for use in AX-15s is synthetic 10W-30 oil.
  9. different sites have different ways to somehow make life easier with their auto scripts and whatnot. I simply get the image I want to use on the screen, right click, and click "copy image location". paste that into the popup box here. :D easy-cheesy
  10. you'll need to host it on a site like photobucket, then copy that addy, click the pic icon (small greenish square right above the text box), and paste the addy in the pop up box.
  11. guess what I've got! an empty bank account! (also a big box of coozies :D ) in order to get your very own Comanche Club coozies, YOU MUST SEND ME A MESSAGE with your name/address and how many coozies you want. helps me keep everything straight. They are $2 each. shipping charge will be $2, no matter how many are ordered. If you want your very own empty bank account, simply transfer everything via paypal to comancheclub@hotmail.com :brows:
  12. in that case, the 6volt ones are really only for very flat surfaces. but they are slow and small and a good starter if you've got a place for them to ride it. my nephew also has a 6volt atv and it really only goes downhill in the grass. on pavement it's better. I stepped up to the bigger 12 volt jeeps (which have a high and a low speed setting) because all of my parents' land is grass and bumpy/hilly.
  13. It's free to let autozone test your battery.
  14. I do believe that's the "flash to pass feature". which leaves much to the imagination. :rotf:
  15. weight is a concern. keep in mind that it's a plastic jeep. :(
  16. Lennox Whipser Heat gas furnace. I've got the damper door propped open and everything seems to be working.
  17. huh. seems the damper door won't stay open. heat shuts back off as soon as I let go of it. :hmm:
  18. I had the same issue. purging the cache cleared it up. :D
  19. came back to michigan to find a very cold house and a really annoyed roommate. every once in a while the old thermostat will act up and not let you turn on the heat. no biggie, tomorrow I'll go get a new one. but when I jumper the wires to get heat, it's only on for a couple minutes and shut off. booo!!!!! not exactly the home coming I was hoping for. :( lost a few fish and some of my plants are looking rough. and now I have to figure out what the heck is going on. :fs1:
  20. I saw a guy that made a winch out of a spare wheel motor. it was sweet! not sure how powerful it is though. but I have a good start: solid extraction points. :D you can hang the whole jeep from any of the clevises. trailer construction starts on my next trip down.
  21. he likes it :D was there any doubt? just wait til he finds out he can power it along with his foot! I disconnected the power from the wheels to see how he handles the concept of "steering" (he needs some more practice. ) but we have a slight downhill in the backyard and he went down that repeatedly until he snapped the cross-shaft in the steering column. yup, that's right. in typical jeeper fashion he broke something his first time out. . :MJ 1: . but I've gotta hit the road back to Michigan, so it'll fall on his grandpa's shoulders to fix it.
  22. the Comanche's opening is a bit bigger than the XJ, but I imagine it can be made to work. it won't drop right in though. :(
