ZJ canyons up front (7" wide) and TJ canyons out back (8" wide)

you've got quite a bit to play with. MJs have a fat butt. the rear axle is the same width as XJs, but the bed is wider than the back of an XJ and so the tires look tucked-in all the time.

swapped out the bad wheel bearing for a junkyard unit. the process went super smooth, which shocked the crap outta me since the suspension has 200k and is more or less rotted in areas. It's not about how rusty your Jeep is, it's all about where the rust is. A huge shout out to Jeep for using some quality bolts to hold the bearings on! The speed sensor didn't fair so well though and a part of it has become a permanent feature of the old bearings. oh well, that system didn't work anyways. tomorrow I'm hoping to make a run over to a junkyard that supposedly has the front diff I need. we shall see. oh, and my speedometer stopped functioning for a couple minutes today. good thing I don't use it for anything anyways (got a GPS unit on the dash).

with its newfound ability to hold the engine still, I bet it does! did the same thing to my mom's PT last summer. whole new ride!

you won't need one specifically for an MJ, as millions of vehicles had the same lights for many, many years. the keys are that the headlight plugs look right and that it's for 2 headlights not, 4.

don't hesitate! it's about the best 12 bucks you can spend on your truck.

I used to drive my mom crazy by walking back upstairs to poke my head outside. I mean, it would have taken all of 2 seconds to run back down. we already know there's a warning and I doubt the twister is going to sneak up on us all that quiet.

was your cluster out of another 4cly Jeep? are you able to adjust the tach?

some codes were reused over the last 30 years and so it's not going to be 100% accurate.

the vacuum manifolds with all the associated plumbing are still available new.

which mirrors do you have now? please note the brackets that go with the tow mirrors. if you don't brace them, they can doa number on your door sheetmetal.
