  1. should be 60 and sunny during the day.
  2. cool beans. with any luck I'm heading to a junkyard soon that claims to have over 2000 cars so we'll see what I can come up with.
  3. holey restoration batman! she needs some serious weld-time!
  4. then sometimes I might shift into 2wd. until then, the magic traction fairies just keep doing their job, rain or shine.
  5. did you add yourself to the members map yet? I think it's pinned in the Pub.
  6. dang. well, you can try sending a message to kryptronic. he hasn't been on in quite a while but I'm sure he'd know.
  7. mid 20s around town (lots of hills in this area). but she can still pull the low 30s on highway trips. she's slipped just a little now that she has big tires and 200k.
  8. have you talked to Alexia yet?
  9. 13 straight years now in AWD in my Libby. no downsides I've been able to find, not even fuel economy.
  10. got a photo of where this is found in a caddy? applicable years?
  11. I'm curious as to whether airing down to 5psi and taking it super slow might have meant floating on the crust.
  12. my 06 Liberty used to know which one was the spare, no matter which rim was actually there. I mean, those sensors are all long gone now since swapping out the rims, but it used to.
  13. gotta give a shout out to Thompson's Used Auto Parts near Greenville SC. Nice people and they allowed us to pull our own parts. it's been a couple years since I was there, but they had like 30 grand cherokees and a handful of cherokees and one lonely MJ (that was pretty dang stipped) 9 Ridgecrest Dr, Fountain Inn, SC 29644
  14. some things I've learned over the years: -33s only give 1" more ground clearance than 31s but quadruples the headaches -wheeling your daily hard can cause all sorts of problems when monday rolls around -closer to stock = better daily driver -a reliable running truck is the most important thing -recovery points are a close second -armor is a close 3rd -lockers are 4th -spending money on things you don't actually need depletes your resources and makes it harder to maintain the daily driver status a 3" lift with good 31s and the proper bumpers and rocker guards makes for a great daily and will easily handle 4x4 duty on the weekends. you don't need giant tires to go have fun.
  15. what's your budget for the project?
  16. what do you plan to do with the truck once it's done?
  17. turbines are always a win
  18. sounds like the same guy that painted it painted my trailer too. the pressure washer just started cleaving off huge swaths of paint. prep people! prep is everything! sounds like you've got a great project going on.
