  1. don't turn on the blower until you evict the little devils.
  2. the two-tone trucks are rare as all get out. so glad to see she was adopted by someone who will take care of her
  3. the "plastic bucket seat" is one of those reused codes.
  4. so I hear that these are available overseas. https://www.ebay.com/itm/RPM-Crankshaft-Sensor-fits-RENAULT-CLIO-Mk3-1-2-2005-on-Intermotor-6001548175/233747387740?epid=1534632660&hash=item366c6e155c%3Ag%3AhPQAAOSws9dfiOr8
  5. that's the red that mine is, yes. (though pretty faded on top)
  6. nope the new red one. (chances are slim I'd ever repaint it outside of an accident/repairs, but if I had to, I'm going to do it right)
  7. I've got 200k miles on my Liberty with it in AWD for near that entire time. I've seen no effect on wear and tear or mileage. those things were just a thing that Jeep advertised but it never came to fruition and so they dumped the entire concept for a normal front axle back in the early 90s.
  8. oh wow, what a gem that is! be sure to start a build thread and give us all the details!
  9. not yet. but that's the plan should I ever repaint the new 88. start from scratch.
  10. you can upload all the photos you want here on the CC. we have software that auto-shrinks and saves them on our server so they can't get lost should an outside photo hosting company decide to change their policies (cough-Photobucket-cough). plus not all of us have an Instagram account, so they would miss out on the details. That truck is just awesome! you clearly have put a lot of work into it.
  11. what state are you in? do they have inspections or sniffers?
  12. yup, that's the only real downside. you might find out that your driveshaft is in need of repair (which you should be fixing anyway of course)
  13. if the pressure bottle cracked, that could cause the overheating and loss of coolant for sure. no matter what, it sucks. so glad it wasn't terminal do the autozones near you accept used coolant? They do near me, but I imagine that's hardly a universal thing.
  14. in 20 years of being online, I've not heard of anyone burning out a t-case after doing the CAD delete.
  15. well that's... weird. I've never had a truck overheat and then magically not overheat.
  16. that IS a big day! congrats!
  17. that's just the optional "whisper quiet" blower. insulated for silent running. but seriously... eww.
  18. me too. they have all been too rough or too far away or a repaint.
  19. well? did it at least get back to the house?
  20. I do agree that a shop might not do it, but I plug my own tires. I'd at least try.
  21. take it all! even if you don't use it the parts are worth reselling.
  22. although in all honesty, if you properly replace the plastic barrier (and don't live in the stupid-humid states) the cardboard should be fine.
  23. I mean... does the door card need to be made of cardboard?
  24. yeah, all my MJs need those seals done bonus points if you pull the glass out for the tinting that guy that did my original baby's windows messed up and there's this tiny flaw at the bottom that annoyed the heck outta me.
  25. find a rotted HO XJ with a good motor and go nuts!
