  1. Marlar and son's Dismatling in north TN has 2 MJs, but they are kinda stripped. interiors are pretty trashed. no beds any more
  2. did you happen to see this truck in there anywhere?
  3. you should start a new thread in Tech so that more eyes will see it.
  4. currently mine has old stock MJ leafs with a long XJ 3" AAL stuck in there. before the AAL, after the AAL, empty, or heavily laden (with 2 complete engines and a trans/t-case plus my engine hoist) it pulls like a dream behind both the Durango and the Libby. other people have complained that their MJ trailer is a bit jumpy and I kinda want to attribute it to the new shocks they used as to the old worn shocks I put on mine. but I don't currently have a pair of new shocks to test that hypothesis out.
  5. time and effort always costs something, whether it be his or yours. can't hurt to go look at it and talk shop with him. seeing one in person beats random backlit internet pictures any day
  6. that would sure save a lot of time and effort.
  7. good catch! I missed that. correction made.

    daaaaaaaamn that's a nice truck!
  11. it's going to be interesting getting that out of a 'yard without a forklift or rear axle. maybe separate the bed and take it in 2 pieces?
  12. do you absolutely need the MJ rear frame?
  13. you don't have rack and pinion steering either. I've edited out the common wrong bits for ya.

    COVID Chances

masks are definitely not 100%, especially in confined areas or if people are working close together or are removing them to eat or whatever. one of my nursing buddies caught it at work last March (it was already rampant in the facility but nurses gotta go be nurses) and he wore N95s each day when on the floor. it's all about reducing the chances. if enough people do it, it can make a huuuge impact in our population of 300+million even if it can't stop it cold.
  15. they look great!
  16. first one: needed a truck. wanted a Jeep. turns out I didn't need to flip a coin second one: bought for the 4x4 drivetrain but never ended up using it to convert #1 and just kept it third one: bought for the engine, then gave the body away 4th one: given to me (who can turn down a free rust free MJ? even if there's no drivetrain or interior you don't say no) 5th one: bought to make an AWD winter beater out of it 6th one: who can say no to a 1 owner low mileage MJ? 1, 4 and 6 are still in my possession
  17. yes, but maybe if they are upside down they fit the MJ better?
  18. she's getting replacement wheelbearings for her b-day this year.
  19. what is the longterm plan for the truck? what will you be using it for?
  20. "garbage" depends on what you want to do it the truck and what your skills are with a carb. it doesn't have the power of the 4.0, but if it's lasted this long, it'll likely keep on chugging for a daily driver or weekend lumber-fetcher. random fact, those Rims are from an TJ Rubicon

somewhere on the CC are photos of a page containing some 89 code explanations. you might be able to fill in some of the blanks with it.
  22. maybe it's just the photo, but they look like Dakota lights to me?
