  1. I remember that truck at barrett. my opinion remains the same: they cheaped out on a bunch of aspects of the build. being 2wd for example.
  2. glad to hear the good news
  3. nope. they have been tight lipped on a release day or a price. but they are coming
  4. my pop just got his second shot the other day and my mom gets hers later this week. I'd say a 90% mask rate at the stores I frequent (having one, not necessarily wearing it properly). Most of the big chain stores won't let you in without one, but after that no one seems to care. but I'm not at the stores very often so it's a tiny sample size. School is mostly back in session around here. Masks aren't mandatory for the kids but I'm told most wear them. Teachers all wear them. a dude got arrested at Disney Springs (the free shopping center on property near parks) yesterday for unlawful trespass after he circumvented the temp-checks somehow and then refused to leave after they caught up with him at the stores. not sure what it is with certain people when they think property rights just aren't a thing.

  6. I completely understand that NOS is NOS, but if "new-aftermarket" would work for you, Key Parts is on the verge of releasing brand new lenses. just lenses though. you'll need your own housings. I have seen them, and they are pretty snazzy
  7. send 'em over! put it on my tab (or get me a paypal ID or something. lol)
  8. is there a matching one elsewhere on the bellhousing that you can steal to take to the store?
  9. oh wait, I guess I need 4, don't I. anything is better than the current piece of electrical tape.
  10. it will only go up in value. the mileage is the only real impediment to the big numbers.
  11. wait, what?! can you spare 2? the NOS bedside has need of such a thing
  12. problems that fix themselves are problems that can come back whenever they feel like it
  13. changed up your title to more of a Tech thing and moved to Tech for ya.
  14. lots of sellers say lots of things. and yes, that's a big project if it's your primary driver. there are significant rewards once it's finished , but that could take quite some time, especially if things go wrong along the way.
  15. can't say, but it's been sitting exposed to the weather. 300 bucks would easily fix your carb.
  16. there are some factory shop manuals in here:
  17. swapping out the top 2 bellhousing bolts for studs helps immensely with alignment
  18. waggy 44s really aren't all that wide. you'll be fine.
  19. the cheapest would be fixing the carb you've got. might just need a new choke or even just a cleaning. an engine swap will always be a big deal because of the "devil you know" vs "devil you don't know" conundrum. unless you bought a running Camaro/Firebird/S-10 so you knew ahead of time that the parts are good-to-go. that would give you a bug leg up vs a junkyard swap.
  20. tailgates near me are 75-100 at the self-serves. of course there aren't any MJs in them, but that would be the price if there were. but there aren't.
  21. nice writeup! is it in the DIY yet?
