  1. everything is suspect. everything should be thoroughly inspected. everything. I imagine you've got this one licked but the proof is in the driving.
  2. did this question get answered? I saw it in another forum but couldn't find a corresponding thread in tech.

  5. are you saying that the signal wire at the sensor shows 0 volts but the same wire at the connector shows the normal volts?
  6. I use my phone for everything. the radio is simply a bluetooth connection to the amp to make the noises. I assume you're looking for something larger than the single DIN opening?
  7. does the knocking sound occur while tight turning?
  8. can't remember if this was posted yet
  9. I had a bit of not-returning-to-center with Breanne's truck and a professional alignment fixed it. My driveway toe measurements got it close, but not close enough. have you changed the front tires at all?
  10. what were the specs on the alignment?
  11. replaced the tail housings and sockets in the Cruiser. the old sockets were corroded and burnt and 15 bucks each! but for less than the price of 4 sockets, I got housings plus sockets plus bulbs.
  12. built a hand rail in the hallway for my pop if he has a weak-knees spell there. just pine with a few layers of clear poly finish.
  13. oh my!
  14. lots of more modern cars have lights that turn on when the hood is popped. how do they do it?
  15. indeed. I would have addressed it years ago except that all the other ground points have been fine and this one is especially buried. out of sight, out of mind and all that. exceptionally poor design here. it was covered by insulation and the harness and had a bunch of debris trapped around it. it was doomed on a rig that's seen salt.

those are reused codes that apply to some later car. chrysler reuses old codes all the time (to the great dismay of enthusiasts of older rigs. you probably also didnt' have a 130amp alternator
  18. I do believe I've found the problem. that used to be a grounding bolt. rerouted the wires to a new location and we're back to where we were before. driveable, but not exactly impressively powerful. next up, I've ordered new air and fuel filters.
  19. the 99 Explorer leafs I tried on my old '90 were close, but not close enough. the tire was no longer centered in the wheelwell and I lost height. if I can find a pic I'll share.
  20. can't keep a good Jeep down. ya just build it even better than before
  21. looks pretty good!
  22. can't seem to re-find it on facebook.
  23. 35k miles. 17k euros. never-ending thumbs-ups from passers by.
