yes, yes there were. old cars, new cars, trucks, jeeps, hemis, turbines... and I wasn't allowed to snap any pictures. :( Except of the LSR MJ. :D
  3. A bit overly confident that the USPS won't lose your box, aren't we? :rotf:

    Just for Fun?

they're poorly organized, but all my online photos are here: www.picturetrail.com/petermontie
  5. AX-15s (on the left) have a front half and a rear half with a big steel ring separating them. Peugeots have a left and a right half with a line of bolts running along the top and the bottom.
  6. which 5spd? AX-15 or Peugeot?
  7. 3.07s are painful with bigger tires. :(
  8. wow. 1100 smackers and you've got new tires, beadlocks and you can sell the old ones? dang. :clapping:
  9. there are dirt cheap cameras out there that are more than capable of snapping photos for internet usage. go get one.

    4.0 Liberty?

I drove a Pacifica once with that new 4oh. I was impressed. Makes me wonder why it's not offered in Wranglers. :fs1:

    Just for Fun?

Yup. mine is a 2000 (last year for the non-euro dash).
  14. showing of is for people that live there. I drove my truck 3000 miles to do that. :D just me, my dog and lots and lots of open road.
  15. bought it. from jcw.com I think. It's been a while. I made the sunvisors. Wit the shelf in place, the visors hung to low. the innards of my 86 MJ's visors fit perfect so I pulled them out and recovered them with the same speakerbox carpet I put on the roof. The visors in my 88 didn't have the same cardboard inside. :hmm:

That be it. 2 publicity shots and the one from the show (there might be another from the show floating around, but the quality is the same).
  18. might want to post a tech question in the tech forum so more will see it. and welcome! :waving:
  19. plus there's the views you can view. :D
  20. I never use the radio in that truck so it's simply going. With a seatbelt on my 6ft frame doesn't contact anything. It's tucked up there pretty good. here's an earlier shot taken while i was building it: that's a switch panel at the far end.

    Just for Fun?

I'm too broke for hobbies these days, but I used to sink money into this:
  22. I have an overhead shelf for mine. In the next phase, the small one is out and I'm replacing the dash radio with a full CB.
  23. Figured as much. Poor guy is way overworked these days.
  24. It's more than just "MJs have this, XJs have that" rules. By and large, XJs will have more amenities like power windows and full consoles. MJs were typically more bare-bones. MJs never had ABS, a lot of XJs will. MJs don't have a front prop valve. XJs rarely have shift-on-the-column. XJs will have a washer bottle that typically has a rear window pump. Lots of little things that can throw Jeepers for a loop if they aren't expecting it.
