  1. dropping the t-case lessens the rear d-shaft angle, but worsens the front d-shaft angle. It's mostly a hack way for TJ/YJ/XJs to help reduce vibes for their short rear driveshafts. MJs have a foot more wheelbase and so a foot more driveshaft and the angles aren't really a concern.

    PS3 Theme

I got that part. :rotf: but I don't own one and wasn't sure if he was talking about some sort of MJ theme for the PS3, or about the PS3 theme we have here at the CC.

    PS3 Theme

    "PS3 theme"? :hmm:
  4. with all the fancy parts like the front fenders?! SOLD! :D The CC sticker fund is totally willing to chip in.
  5. you might need to ask HellCreek how long their U-bolts are.
  6. just some clarification of terms: the full XJ leafpacks are shorter in front-to-rear length and also have less arch. the lack of arch is why XJ AALs give less lift when shoved in an MJ. HellCreek makes an MJ AAL that lifts about an inch. They also make full 3" packs.
  7. I'm really tempted, but I'm not sure how easy it would be to save the cab. cut off the roof. replace with good roof. :D Step one is: "can we save it?". step 2 is how. lord knows there are enough of us with rusted out trucks that have good roof/A/B pillars.
  8. It can be the official club truck. :D
  9. stock WJ arms aren't any longer than stock MJ arms
  10. costs double for each additional inch of lift. when you did your 2" lift, did you upgrade the shocks? the brake lines? the track bar? sway bar links? lower control arms? those all start to become necessary as you pass the 2" mark.
  11. someone buy me that door!
  12. I'd pull everything out, both to dry it and to gain better access. Just start undoing the phillips screws until there's none left. :D oh, and the seats take a 13 mm socket.
  13. 8 or 9 inches
  14. do your turn signals work?
  15. last time I had a belt jump ship it was due to bad bearings in the water pump. :(
  16. Doesn't sound very "jeep" to me. I thought it was required that we throw tools and parts at it 'til it becomes a lawn ornament. :dunno:
  17. it's an art more than a science and can be a difficult skill to master. :( But at least the search database is complete now. lord knows that it was a real pain until I learned out how to re-index the database. I searched for "trailer" and "bed", displayed as topics, and searched in the Tech forum. found this in the first page of returns: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17732
  18. you and me both. :D I found out about them the same way I find other MJ stuff. Lots and lots of searches for "comache".
  19. MT trucks tended to come with the same gearing as the truck would have otherwise.
  20. I've seen a photo of an MJ like that, so at least one person has done it. Those are the pressure-equalizing ports so I'm not sure if it's all that wise of an idea to seal them. on the other had, my trucks all leak like sieves so they may not be that necessary. :dunno: plus there's the almighty Thunder Chief. :D
  21. Sweet! I'm not the only MJ owner rocking the dual sunroofs. :D
