  1. We've been having bad weather; tornadoes, high winds, hail, etc. since Good Friday. Most of the really bad stuff has slid by just north or south of us. We're fine, just a couple of trees down and LOTS of dead branches everywhere. Thanks for asking Jeff-man. :D
  2. I'm still using IE6 - that's probably why I'm having problems.
  3. What's the "modern domestic category"? Soccer Mom vehicles? Do minivans also qualify? Really, I don't know. :dunno:
  4. Yep, that must be it. :jump:
  5. I believe p/n 56006862 is the Export model clock Jim.
  6. I've got a couple of wrecked rubber boots caused by a pickle fork. Are these things available separately somewhere, like in the "HELP" section of the parts chain stores? I've never seen them...........
  7. Yeah, most all hole.
  8. Thanks - looks like Firefox replacing IE6 it is. 8) Now got to study up on it..............
  9. who is the youngest CC member? Better question: Who cares?
  10. Don't have to look at the pic to see why; I understand this extended yoke has it's limitations on the operating angle even if grinded. But if your goal is just need to extend your driveshaft length with an op angle of maybe 12-14 degrees or less, this yoke will work just fine. BTW, the max recommended op angle for the 1310 Spicer joint is 12 degrees. This is not to say they will not function for awhile if the angle is greater as in your case, it's just Spicer's recommendation. :D
  11. "Classic" went off the air last week. :fs1:
  12. More like they pulled the 4.0 then said the hell with any engine. It's freekin' terrible.
  13. WTF is up with Ebay? Since they converted to the "new" Ebay Motors, it has slowed to a crawl. I've done the usual things; getting rid of cookies and temp internet files, clearing the cache, increasing the size of the page file, etc. Nothing had helped. This is the only site that's slow loading on my computer. Anyone know of a cure? It sucks bad..............
  14. These GM TH-350 27-spline 7" long yokes work well on our NP cases and AW4 trannys. Splined the whole length of the shaft, and can be cut to length. Grinding may be required for large pinion angle applications.
  15. Roger, thanks Bob. Could help out quite a few guys here if it's it doable to get their fuel gauge going in the right direction. :D
  16. The HO fuel senders were standardized for the 91-92 HO MJs; one sender fits both MJ tanks, unlike the Renix senders that were different for each tank. The pumps are different too between the Renix and HOs too, as I'm sure the learned Wildman knows. :D The tag on my 91 sender harness (still there amazingly) matches the tag on the new unit I acquired. Bob, can't quite make out the potentiometer on the MJ sender. Is the opposite leg of the pot accessable to resolder the fuel gauge wire? Or is the pot sealed?
  17. Don't use a "universal" ballast resistor like you buy at Autismzone and the other chains. Get one from the dealer for about the same price that will be the correct ohms value.
  18. When I used to have birthdays, it was also on 23 Aug. There's a bunch of early Virgos here.
  19. Correct. Thought you were going to convert the 91 back to SUA.
  20. :agree: ASSume both are D35 axles w. the same ratio? Or are they different, i.e. ratios and/or axle type? Just verify the 88 axle ratio will be okay with the 91 engine/tranny combo, and use new U-bolts.
  21. Eleventy Billion X 2
  22. Well, this project is over. I found a NOS HO MJ p/n 4637184 fuel sending unit buried in the archives of Ebay, send the guy an email, and he still had it, $55 shipped. In comparing the XJ and MJ HO units, I suppose the XJ unit could be modified, but it would take a lot of creativity. About the only common part is the potentiometer itself and float. But it's real easy to change the sender's output voltage polarity and use it in a Renix application. Both ends of the pot have solder terminals. Simply remove the BLU wire and resolder it to the other leg of the pot and the voltage output polarity to the gauge is reversed. Tested and verified. :D I do not have a Renix sender but I'm sure this will work as well providing both ends of the pot are accessible.
  23. :agree: Should look great when you get it on mate. I'd try to use the OEM braclets with it if possible, then you can add an MJ specific hitch later w. no problems.
  24. Dayem good thing it was a 9 mil and not a .45 or that moron would be dead, if he's not already. If so, he's great Darwin award candidate. But then the equally moronic shooter would be in the slammer for 1st degree. Pure stupidity.............
  25. Talk about ate up with dumb@$$ http://shock.military.com/Shock/videos.do;jsessionid=AF2D06EAEF0397C86CCCBE40FE10A692?displayContent=188153&ESRC=soldiertech.nl
