  1. Does anybody know of a company that makes diamond plate rails for the comanche?

  4. I have three extra ballast resistors it does the same thing with every one of them, it doesnt get warm it gets extremely hot. The weird thing is the fuel pump won't come on if the ballast resistor is hooked up, but if bypassed it comes on but it is really noisy. I was switching resistors with my other jeeps and they all work fine. I also changed all my ground wires thinking it was a bad ground causing the resistor to get hot.
  5. The fuel pump is new I allready replaced it. But today I bypassed the resistor and it started right up, if I hook it back up it won't even start the resistor just gets real hot. What would cause that?
  6. No bypassing it does nothing.
  7. I have a 1988 jeep cherokee with a a 4.0. The question is why would the ballast resistor get hot and stall the engine. I replaced the resistor but it does the same thing. It will run for a couple minutes then it stalls. I let it cool down then it starts right back up. Any Ideas.
  8. It is a 1990 jeep comanche with 9 inch coils 2 inch spacer, it has an adjustable track bar drop pitman arm, adjustable upper control arms, fixed lowers, control arm drop brackets and 36 inch super swampers.
  9. Okay I have a 1990 comanche, that has really bad DW at about 25 miles an hour. What is the easiest way to correct it.
  10. Why is it that everybody hates Rustys. I have used all of rustys products and have never had any problems except there front hook brackets tend to bend when a full size truck snatches you out of the mud.

  12. I changed the ignition switch today because it was messing up, got that all done and same thing whats happening is the ballist resistor is getting real hot and it seems its loosing all power to the fuel pump, then when it all cools down it starts back up.

  14. I have a 1988 jeep cherokee with a 4.0 and today i went to leave walmart and it started then stalled so i started it back up and it ran like crap then stalled again. So i went to start it back up and one of the wires on the solenoid started smoking. So i put a new pump in it and it still wouldnt run, so i straight wired the balist resistor and it started up, then stalled. Sometimes it starts but doesnt have full power then it will stall again. So i put anew resistor on it and samething, so i checked the fusible link that smoked and it has power. I also checked all the relays andthey are good. Has anybody had a problem like this before.
