  1. No. This is a factory rollbar. Image Not Found
  2. After 1991 the stock sway bar links were lengthened about 1-1/2". So pick up a pair of the newer links from a 1992 XJ and up. These are what I use on my MJ w. 3" lift - work fine.
  3. Don't know - I've never used the GM injectors. Probably never would either. :D Good question though. For sure they are all Bosch injectors though.........
  4. 24# Mustang injectors would be a complete waste on a stock or mildly built engine. Most of the fuel would be blown out the tail pipe. Injectors are graded by static flow (lbs/hr) and pressure. To correctly size injectors for a particular engine, the best way is use the HP vs. orfice size vs. pressure (an adj. regulator is necessary for this) formulas to get you into the ballpark. Then do dyno runs to obtain the peak HP/torque vs. economy readings. Case in point: the best injectors for my 4.6 stroker turned out to be the stock 96-99 23.2# running @ 46 lbs. The following is a list of the injectors used on the 4.0L since 1987 along with their rated static flow: Model Year, ...Part #, ......Colour, .....Fuel Pressure, ...Static Flow, '87-'90, ........53003956, ...Black, ........39psi, .................18.6lb/hr '91-'93, ........33007127, ...Brown, .......39psi, .................21.0lb/hr '94-'95, ........53030343, ...Tan, ...........39psi, .................21.0lb/hr '96-'99, ........53030778, ...Grey, .........49psi, .................23.2lb/hr '00-'01, ........04854181, ...Blue tip, .....49psi, .................22.5lb/hr The injector flow rate varies as the square root of the pressure drop across the injector. The stock '91-'95 4.0 injectors are rated at 22lb/hr @ 43psi fuel pressure, so at 39psi they flow ( sq. rt.(39/43) x 22.0 = 21.0 ). For stock/modified 4.0 engines or stroker build-ups the following injectors can be installed. The flow rates are: Ford Motorsport 19.0lb/hr @ 39psi (Part no. FMS-M9593-C302) Ford Motorsport 24.0lb/hr @ 39psi (Part no. FMS-M9593-A302) Ford Motorsport 30.0lb/hr @ 39psi (Part no. FMS-M9593-B302) Chevy LT1 24.0lb/hr @ 43.5psi (Part no. 1712424 Chevy LT4 28.0lb/hr @ 43.5psi (Part no. 17124251) '98 Chevy LS1 25.2lb/hr @ 58.0psi (Part no. 12533952) '99-'00 Chevy LS1 26.2lb/hr @ 58.0psi (Part no. 12456154) '01-'02 Chevy LS1/LS6 28.6lb/hr @ 58.0psi (Part no. 12482704) Accel 19.2lb/hr @ 44.1psi (ACC-150119) Accel 21.1lb/hr @ 44.1psi (ACC-150121) Accel 24.4lb/hr @ 44.1psi (ACC-150124) Accel 25.6lb/hr @ 44.1psi (ACC-150126) Accel 29.4lb/hr @ 44.1psi (ACC-150130) So to answer your question, the 19# Ford injectors would be very close to right for you.
  5. I did this almost a couple of years ago. If you take your time and do it right, it works very well. Mechanical fans have gone the way of the dinosaur. :D Gave me a bit more MPG too. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8342&p=100730&hilit=electric+fan#p100730
  6. You are correct - ARB doesn't make a shock for lifts over 3". But the p/n's I mentioned before in this thread are good up to a 3" lift.
  7. If you get it you can use it to herd cattle and sheep with the bumper.
  8. The silence is deafening.
  9. Yeah, way cooler. :shake:
  10. Nice job, the bends conform well, but it just doesn't look right w. the 1.5" tubing.
  11. Can't go wrong with the Cragars; old school timeless design, I've always loved them. Gawd knows where they are made today though, but I'd think they would still have the Cragar QC applied. I like the grey Eliminator Wheels.
  12. Similar 88pioneer, except the ones I had were longer and specifically for the LWB MJs. Didn't know they were still around. They required drilling into the subframe and attaching w. self-tapping bolts. I sold them for more than I bought them for, so that's always nice. :D The JCR sliders are robust and look good IMHO.
  13. That Fey aftermarket bumper doesn't look too bad either. Good job mates.
  14. Don't ever delete; it may help others in the future. Sounds like you have a good woman Spence. ROLL TIDE!
  15. ^^ Sounds like old home week within a 100 mile radius.
  16. Very nice Wade. You guys have got me thinking about pulling off my shell. :D
  17. Give Doug a call at Teraflex. He has them. Phone: 801.288.2585 Ext 318.
  18. Aye - that's better. Nice work as per your usual norm.
  19. CW, that's not like you to leave that one forward leg stubbed off like that w/o a flange. :D Doesn't look like your normal super stellar fab work mate.
  20. Yes, there are plenty of stop-gap measures, like removing the left wiper arm, using the lower hole when opening the hood, etc. But I want to open it ALL the way w/o interference.
  21. Hey Paul, we are all here to help you from making the wrong decisions, although you haven't made any so far AFAIK. :D I put a set on mine I picked up for cheap on Ebay a few years ago (chrome of course); immediate dislike. Maybe black powder coat wouldn't look quite so ghey. :D
  22. Yes, very doable, but what a horrible thing to do. :(
  23. :agree: Good informative MJ thread. Slow night..............
  24. They do not serve he same purpose at all. As stated, nerf bars are for "looks"; secondarily as a step up. And yes - wannabee ghey. 8)
