Factory two-tones:

On the 1990 clocks there's a #74 incandescent wedge bulb on the rear of the clock. It's powered by the dash light illumination circuit. In 1991 they went to the LED for backlighting.

Same thing happened this weekend on the MZ forum I'm on. The a$$hats have been busy..............

I think it would look better too if the parking lights were amber to match the side lights.

The Pats showed up last week Jim; they just got their butts handed to them AT HOME by the Jets. I would have bet a week's pay last week on the Pats 'cause I'm a fan and consider them the best overall team in football. But looking at how the Jets wiped them out on both sides of the ball, I can't see them getting beat by either the Cheeseheads or Da Bears. That's IF the Jets can get by the Stillers and Rottenberger doesn't pull one out of his a$$ in the last twenty seconds again..........

Thanks for the info Spence. That confirms the color on my 91 is not Grey Mist Metallic, as the paint code on mine translates to Dark Gray Metallic, and was only used on the 91-92 MJs. :cheers:

Yep, you're right Bo (and jimoshel). Instead of trying to interpret the parts manual, I should have just looked at the Ebay pic. :doh: It's just a 2-wire in-tank fuel float sending unit to the gas gauge for a carbed MJ. Duh........

The seller's Ebay part number (53002490) crosses to an 1986 16 gallon tank. This is a complete kit, including the wiring harness. Jim, from what I'm seeing, it will work for the FI Renix era 18/23.5 gal gas tanks. :cheers:

Did you try testing the stat on the stove in a pot of boiling H20 and a thermometer? I've never liked Stant thermostats (had similar problems) and always use the OEM 195* thermostats from the stealer.

Never seen a Gray Mist Metallic one either. In fact can not find a paint called Gray Mist Metallic for 91-92. Rob, do you happen to know the paint code?
