  1.
  2. Thanks for clarifying that Eagle. I was half listening, thought it was wrong. There are some super renditions of the anthem I have heard from military members in other venues; use them and get rid of the fool celebrities. The stupid half-time show was AFU also. The Stupid Bowl becomes more and more over-hyped every year, but at least this year the game was a good one.
  3. I don't believe in diff tags or the BOM number stamped on the axle tube. Been fooled too many times. You don't know what you have until you look inside, especially with a suspected Trac-Loc axle.
  4. Came down to the wire, Roethlisberger had a chance to pull in out with one last drive, but blew it. Congrats to the Pack.
  5. Got that right. :ack:
  6. Well you got the first half part right. Let's also hope you get the second half right too. :D
  7. Did I hear it wrong, or did Christina Aguilera just massacre the words to the National Anthem? :shake:
  8. That's odd. I have several Renix clusters laying around and both power and ground is provided for all the indicator lamps via the foil.
  9. whatever....
  10. Maybe. :dunno: I knew what he was talking about. It has little effect on NA engines, but works great with turbos and real high compression engines though.
  11. Primitive H2O / Meth / Windshield Washer Fluid injection.
  12. If the low level connector is there, turn on the ignition and short the two pins on the connector together with a piece of wire. The LL indicator light should illuminate on the left side of the cluster. IF the indicator bulb is installed in the cluster. I had to add one.
  13. The connector is there on the 91-92 HO harness, and not used. When I installed the 97+ XJ washer tank inside the fender well, I hooked up the low washer circuit to the tank, just had to extend the wires so the connector could reach down inside the fender well.
  14. If the O2 sensor threads are not completely gone, you can use a spark plug thread chaser tool like below clean the threads up. Worked for me last time I changed the O2 sensor.
  15. I'm likin' the Steelers. In spite of the fact that I'm always first and foremost an NFC fan, and I'm old enough to remember when the Burg was a dominant team in the NFC. I liked em then :D I love GB's Clay Matthews and his heritage, and Aaron Rogers has been the best big game QB in the NFC this year. BUT I think the Steelers D is superior, especially their pass rush, and will force Rogers to pass more than he wants to, and a healthy Troy and his mates will kill that. It should be a good close game, and allow Ben to pull another one out and win by a TD pass or get in close enough for a field goal in the final seconds. Thoughts?
  16. In my case, the ONLY absolute necessity the females in my house need is a functioning cell phone. We've had three snow/ice storms so far, highly unusual for this neck of the woods, and I've been "called out" by all three of the resident females, one each for each storm. Mr. MJ to the rescue each time, so far with no damages. But I'm living on borrowed time because all three are clueless. :(
  17. So the speedo stopped working after the ECU warmed up? If your spare ECU has the same p/n as the original, I'd stick it in and give it a shot. You said originally you had continuity from the ECU to the cluster connector. So why do you want to run a new wire??
  18. Hmmm. 2.5 upside down then mirror image = 5.2?
  19. To answer your question, yes, it's the same switch and the POWER/COMFORT connector will plug right on. I have a whole box of them.

It was very technical. I did a Google search for "Cows with guns video".

  22. Jim, no wheel spacers are street legal, according to the mfg. They are guaranteed for off-road only. This includes hub-centric, wheel-centric, and lug-centric and any combination thereof. Including SpiderTrax. Read the fine print. So if you are using spacers, as I am, make sure they are the best you can get, all-centric as above. Only a fool would settle for less to save a few $$.
  23. Continuity = Zero (or very close) ohms between point A and point B. No breaks or shorts to ground. Since you have a spare ECU, eyeball the connector pins first. If all okay, swap it in. If still no tach indication, do the continuity check. Be advised that swapping in another unverified ECU might cause other problems.
  24. Yes. Do you have a meter and do you know how to use it? It's much easier than just guessing and swapping parts.
