  1. I had one years ago, an aftermarket unit mfg. by Genuine Steel. Didn't look like the one on your rig. Yours might be genuine. Did you check the bracketry and hardware on yours against Fiatslug's (Mike) part diagram to be sure? I've never seen an MJ factory rear tube bumper in person.
  2. The NCAA Basketball Final Four is finally set: Kentucky vs. Wisconsin and Michigan State vs. Duke. I'd like to see someone besides Kentucky win it all, but don't think it's going to happen, even though they got a good scare from Notre Dame. I'd really like to see the Dukies get to the final but I don't think their chances of winning are good unless Wisconsin upsets the Wildcats. But that won't happen; Kentucky can probably whip 50% of the NBA teams with their size. Calipari's basketball factory strikes again.........
  3. Glad to help mate.
  4. Jim, if you can't find a used pulley, here's one on Ebay HERE. NOS, good price, and free shipping too. This is correct for your 87 2.5.
  5. Have you tried him through Craigslist? http://capecod.craigslist.org/cto/4944068568.html
  6. I thought you were trying to peddle that?
  7. Agree Remi. Especially when the brass plate is mispelled and completely different. It looks like a local engraving shop product. Good looking truck though. I sent this post url to the owner of the Street Comanche site - maybe he'll respond when he sees it.

  9.
  10. Column shift or floor shift? Suggest you edit your signature to include the year, engine, transmission, etc. of your MJ so we don't have to guess.
  11. Part number is 55000765. You can get it HERE. It's a split rolled pin, heat and drive out from the bottom using the correct size drift punch and a BFH.
  12. It is classic. :rotfl2:
  13. Yes it is, same as the black injector o-ring.
  14. Yes, your sig is there. Just didn't know it simply plugged into the diagnostic port - must have missed that. I thought it might be hardwired in like an A/F meter.
  15. Ah, okay. Renix only then.
  16. How is it wired in? Can you post a wiring diagram?
  17. So you're an Army brat Jeff? If so, your Daddy should have taught you about the evils of Bud Lite and Budweiser in general. I do like the Budweiser Clydesdales though. They use them to create the Bud-Lime. :rotf:
  18. Looks like the kit instructions call for a Ramsey REP 6000 or REP 4500 winch.
  19. Got it. That's very cool. I can relate; I was a field guy for many years in DoD and had to make the comms work in conditions never imagined by the equipment design engineers who never left their desks for real world testing and were bound by theory, marketing, compromises, and "best case" model results. Sent a lot of stuff back that looks similar to like your spiral bound notebook. Good stuff.
  20. Let's hear from the others then. No documentation from JeepTech?
  21. Losing the gaskets is one thing I can understand since they were just Mylar film, not a good gasket material at all. Mylar phased out cellophane in many applications that required a stronger more resistant material, especially in aircraft. But hacking off 1/2" or so off the baffle towers is something I'd never do w/o proof that it actually was beneficial. But that's just me.
  22. No doubt. She would "Sooner" be in OK, but will be going back eventually.
  23. Was not a factory option, it was the Ramsey hidden winch kit #295153. You could order it dealer installed or buy the kit and DIY. They pop up rarely on Ebay and other sources. I have the installation manual and specs for it. Neat option for an MJ or XJ. This would be a great truck if the rust termites haven't eaten it all up.
  24. When I swapped out my steering box with a "new to me" ZJ quick ratio box, it weeped a little around the output shaft. Threw in a bottle of Lucas power steering stop leak, and after driving it awhile it stopped and hasn't leaked again. Something in a bottle that really worked.
