  1. Brake pads are the front disks, brake shoes are the rear drums. The e-brake has nothing to do with changing the pads. So what did you change? EDIT: We think alike mate.
  2. What a shame. She's really been buggerized.
  3. Yep, a lot more than you do.
  4. In case you need the seals, the p/n is J8121781. http://www.amazon.com/Crown-Automotive-J8121781-Axle-Seal/dp/B00B8X3BQ8
  5. Got a 12HP gain with the 01 manifold on the stroker: http://www.jeepstrokers.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=387 I notice a lot of butt-dyno experts here claim there's no gain from the new manifold and other add-ons, but that's just BS if you don't test it with something more accurate than your butt. :rotfl2:
  6. 96 XJ master/booster, and yes, I still have the underhood light on the right side.
  7. Picked up an Injen polished aluminum air tube on Ebay for cheap. The seller didn't know what it fit. It looked like it might work for me, I made him an offer and got it. It fits fine after a little massaging, and adds a bit more bling to the engine compartment.
  8. Try pulling the flex plate cover and look for scrape marks on the inner cover since you only get the noise under throttle. While it's off rotate the engine 360 and check for flex plate cracks and/or loose bolts.
  9. I believe he said "both my 2.8 and my 3.4 exhaust manifolds are rusted to $#!& with holes in it".
  10. Good point.
  11. Chainsaw. :rotfl2:
  12. A rubber floor mat? Agree it looks better than bare metal. Hope it hugs the roof tight over the summer. Nice ingenuity.
  13. The chrome tails were still available in the 88-89 parts manual. A local guy has a 89 Laredo he bought new and it has the chrome lamps. I suppose if the black or chrome tail lamps were leftover at a dealership they would sell them to anyone.
  14. ^^^ It's happened to all of us. No worries.
  15. How did you do the grille? Looks pretty good.
  16. I just use another beer to open my beer. http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CCUQuAIwAQ&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DYuwX16QQi3o&ei=kw1aVfGPGcLBtQWT-oCoBg&usg=AFQjCNGlylSxF2ZZG2kBNMobqJ1IwWyfmQ&bvm=bv.93564037,d.b2w
  17. Going to be a nice ride. Good to see Mr. O peeking out of the garage.
  18. I have the 3-spoke horn which grounds differently. This thread should help you out: http://comancheclub.com/topic/40798-horn-button-missing-bits-and-pieces-i-think/?hl=horn
  19. You see the chrome lamps mostly on the Laredo models. The black lamps I've seen on everything else.
  20. Looks like you have the 2-spoke steering wheel. Does the horn still come on when the ground wire is removed or disconnected?
  21. No, it was a hose from the defrost duct box down to a discharge vent in the lower dash panel, present only in MJs w. factory A/C (I think). The nipple the hose was on was invisible until I saw pics of the duct box laying in a parts pile.
  22. Thanks Adam - those pics were exactly what I needed.
  23. Sorry about your accident, but since you have access to a generic header photo of a CO standard form DR 2436 which means nothing, do you also have photos of the little Rav4 that hit you and caused your damage? Sure would like to see what it looks like.
  24. It's plugged into the booster (little black plastic round check valve) and the booster vacuum line connects to it.
  25. What? No one has one?? Well, it was worth a try.
