I'm glad I saw this thread. :cheers: I had a slight ticking noise after my jeep warmed up and wasn't sure where it was. I checked the exhaust header collector flange where it mates to the down pipe elbow, and sure enough it was leaking a bit. Gasket ordered.....

Probably I just remember the old days when we all had two set of wheels /tires; one for winter and one for summer. No need for that down here though. Good to hear Carly's doing fine. :thumbsup:

I've had the Michelin LTX A/T's (31") on for about two years now, maybe 12K miles, and I can't see a bit of wear yet. The nubs are still intact. I've had these before on other vehicles and they wear like iron. Had 80K on a set once and they still had more than 1/2 the tread left. They may cost a bit more up front than the others, but outlast most everything else. They are decent in snow (not that I care that much since we seldom see it), and outstanding on wet or dry pavement. They are very quiet tires too.

Call your local DMV to be sure. But I'm sure it violates not only local noise restrictions, but EPA Noise Pollution regulations as well.

Concur! I've seen the ASD relay cause a no-run condition because the relay was bad, but never from skinned wires under the PDC where the relay sockets are wired. Do you know how the wire insulation got rubbed off? Was some previous owner fooling around under the PDC? This could help all of us with the HO models.

When I had Ravines on my 2WD, I used chrome dust caps on the front wheels to cover the hub sticking through the wheel center hole. It looks like you are using something different and looks the same on all four wheels?

When I bought my truck the paint was pretty roached out and I tried to bring it back to original. The factory decals of course were long unobtainium, so I had a shop repop some. Still looking for an original set. I've only seen one other MJ with these factory decals, so I guess I'll keep them. And yeah Alex, got to get up there one day and see all the good work you've done on your rig. :cheers:

There are certain "off-color" words that when typed in get automatically changed by the software. For instance type in a-s-s. But whoever figured out which words to change I have no idea. That's above my pay grade. I blame it on Pete and Alexia. :rotfl2:
