1. I have had that DEATH WOBBLE in several vehicles I have had and several I have worked on, it generally occurs at below 45 mph and will quit when you slow down or stab the brakes (it will make you piss your pants the first time). Always occurs on trucks with oversize tires and usually worn front end parts are involved, sometimes just a steering stabilizer will cure it. Look for worn tie rods ends, drag link,or steering box if those are OK then add or replace the steering stabilizer, they are a dual action shock and they wear. Good Luck
2. Working on cars for 35 years and on used cars for 25 you see a lot of strange things, most common are people who use the wrong bulb because it FITS. I have seen filaments short together but very seldom, another common thing especially on trucks are the wiring GENIUSES who attempt to wire trailer harnesses. But I can't honestly I have seen a 1157 put in 180 out.
3. 2010 Quad Cab Comanche........ I am definatly IN

powder coating?

If they are cleaning, sandblasting, prepping and powder coating each wheel inside and out absolutely not. They will have at least 2 hours invested in each wheel + materials. I did all the accessory brackets, belt tensioners and pulleys for my 94 T-Bird Super coupe and I can tell you it was very labor intensive.
5. If you use valet patking and tell the attendant to get your Comanche the odds are he will bring you the right vehicle. Not that I use the valet parking much I preffer to park it myself so it won't get damaged.
6. What number bulb did you use? Sounds like you used a 1156 instead of a 1157 they tend to short the tail lites and turn signals together and makeall sort of weird crap happen.

MJs in Movies

I'd LOVE to add the Halle Berry option to my MJ ;) But my wife says
8. Actually there was 3 pics i tried to post. don't know what happened.
9. Primary color painted on cab,now I caqn reinstall the bed.
10. Are they still having Comanche recalls? :brows: Yea there is an open recall on my 1990 Comanche for O2 sensor and catalytic converter. Certain safety and emission recalls can last forever.
11. Before anyone spends any money on new catylitic convertors I would suggest calling your local Jeep dealer. There are active recalls open on many of our vehicles and the cats could be replaced for FREE. Call your local Dealer service dept with your VIN and see. I know there is one on my 90 and plan to take it there as soon as I can. Open recalls don't depend on mileage or age.
12. Sand thoroughly, prime, sand then paint. The black stuff is EDP (electro dip primer) but regular primer sticks to it much better than paint. If you just sand and paint you will have adhesion issues or rust issues later. BTDT
13. Updated pics. New front sheetmetal installed bed removed and minor body work in progress.
14. Hey I am just glad to have a good useable bumper, searched the internet for a month been cheated and lied to by internet parts stores. I will soon straighten thje bumper corner and repaint the bumper carefully masking around that sticker to preserve it.
15. Sorry I forgot to have Scotty turn off the cloaking device. [/img] I only use that device for insurance claims.

17. I am doing a driveway paint job on mine and I am using 220 grit on a DA and going over that with a fine scuff pad, I use the scuff pad to get the edges and tight areas where you can't get the sandpaper to go.[/img]
18. Its from a company called Trinity Auto Paint, its cheap Acrylic Enamal but sprays real nice. Its a little more Purple than I planned but everyone who has seen it likes it. Its called Saphire Blue Metallic its only $46.00 a gallon + shipping. The silver panel down the side should calm it down a little. :brows:
19. Thanks for your old bumper mjdoa and the advise on posting pics. It was good to meet you the bumper will bolt to my brackets with drilling only 2 holes. [/img]
20. And This will be the main body color with a silver twotone panel down the sides. More pics later.[/img]
