Already started Dissasembly and gathering parts[/img]

You will need two special tools, a steering wheel puller and a lock plate removal tool to remove the steering wheel lock plate. Hardest part is fishing the wiring harness in and out of the column and not cutting off the connector.

I drilled out the rivets today and exchanged the floor brackets fron the bench seat to the bucket seats. It worked perfectly, Thanks guys problem solved. :cheers:

Has any one installed factory bucket seats in their MJ? I have a perfect pair out of a XJ but the floor brackets are different. :mad: Does any one have an old set of mj bucket seats with the brackets that would be willing to sell the brackets? I like to install seats as the factory does for safety and to keep an original look. Thanks

The bed on mine measures 73" is mine a short or a long bed? The bed on my Dakota measures 5' 6" and its a short bed. Has anyone installed a hard tonneau cover on one of our trucks,and what did it fit? No one has a listing for our trucks for tonneau covers or bed liners. :mad:

The first my Mj needs is paint. Any one have any tips on removing the bed so I can paint the back of the cab and the front of the bed? Bolt sizes where they are or any tips to make it easy are greatly appreciated. Thanks
