Picked up my RE LCA from Asshogger today..well wednesday lol.

i replace mine eveytime i change the oil....no wonder i have so much rust after the oil pan..lol

you prolly seen my bumper post but if not its here its not the greatest but i got all the metal free so if(when) it gets trashed i'll make a better one.

ya i was gonna have it sit closer to the body but i gonna make a swing out tire carrier for, still workin out the design..lol

for the fumes i had a mask on and a good fan blowing where i was weldin so the fumes blown outside. i was thinkin about taking the mounts all the way through the bumper but it would sit too close to the body, so i am going to add bracing to the mounts. well got it done and mounted for now.. not bad for my first bumper i guess..best thing is all the material was free!! :twisted:

uuhh..post..was a 10' galvanized steel fence post that i chopped down. its 4" dia and 1/8" wall. it weighs 50lbs so far..lol

got a little farther on it last nite. need to put more braces on it and beef the welds up more. couple more pics here

started platin the factory mounts as to make things easier..that and i like shapin metal.. :D :twisted: not bad for a days play..er work lol i hate when i run outta weldin wire in the middle of a project...

if he changes the speedo gear change the RPM's?

dang that sucks ..not only that you paid $2k for a HP...lol i've had 3 HP/Compaq desktops and never again. everytime it starts to rain here i unhook the power and cat5 cable.

a lot of it has to do with the drivers skill...i ran trails on my wife's ZJ with a BB and 30's that an allmighty rubi(stock) got stuck on. hummers suck!!! id drive a HMMWV just because they look cool but my JP's will out wheel them except for water fording!

i agree..i would have to buy stock before that happens...lol

should be a hole that has a plug covering it to slip a socket and ext through to un bolt it. i can't remember if there are 1 or 2 nuts holding it on.

the guy that put the TJ flares on my MJ did a good job. they are sahara ones so when/if i go full width axles the tires will still be covered..lol

Mine always shoot across the room, but I've got a good eye. Well, if ya wore safety glasses you would have two good eyes :D :nanner: :clapping: i used a cheap plastic comb once b4 i got a tool..lol
