I WANT A V8 4X4 comanche

I would start here viewforum.php?f=7 even got a link for you -
GPS is for pussies VFR or a Stopwatch compass and Map. If you really screw up someone will tell you were to go. oh, on the ground. My wife has a Garmin c550, and I don't get lost.

Soccer occasionally, basketball with my neighbors, Softball with the squadron when I have time. Mattress Wrestling

60 psi will not be enough to run the impact. You would need to get a high pressure tank as well for it. Heck I want to say I was running my ratchet on more than that at the house.

cool pictures. They remind me of a house on the French Broad river in the Gorge, up in the Mtns of NC and Tenn. The thing cantilevers out on some massive posts. neato

for either sand drags or mud drags looks like. I guess potentially I could see it as a hillclimber. Way too specific for my tastes.

David, if you decide to use the stock door switches, let me know. I have a big box full of OEM switch panels and switches all in good shape. sweet, I will do so. I am already looking forward to the 4th since I will probably not get another chance to do any major projects like this until I get another 3 day weekend and break from training.

Ok, I have my steering box - donated from an 88 Firebird Formula with the WSX package. It is supposed to be a tighter box. All I know is that it fits. The input on the manual box is super long, so the bigger And after looking in the bay a bit today I got the impression, that the only other things I will need would be the physical pump, a reservoir (be it a stock on or if I used a remote tank), the lines and an afternoon. It looked like the bracket that holds my dummy pulley is exactly like the bracket that came off my when I upgraded the manifold. Anybody confirm this? I may go a step further and use the pump from a 4.7L GC which is supposed to have a higher pressure. Should make for some easy steering in my endgame, roadracer scenario. I had read rumors that said the lower rad hose would need to be changed, true?

I never did like the stock mounting position, and I did not feel like scouring the jY to find a few good switch panels, though I might if the switch setup I am planning does not pan out. I do need to either find some door panels in good condition or have mine redone, or find something that fits in the hole where the handle came through (tweeter maybe?). I like my all vynal door panels, but given the chance I would probably add the lower pockets that I am missing.

Just finished my install in the MJ. Scored 2 window motors/regulators at the junk yard on Saturday, got the control box/switches wired up yesterday, and got the whole shebang installed today. Instead of putting the switches in the door I put them in a project box from Radio Shack, and wedged it between my bench and the shifter console. I will be ordering some momentary, round, push button, led illuminated switches and wiring one for up and one for down on each window and either flush mounting them on the console or on the dash where some other switches were supposed to come from the factory. I was working with some manual regulators that would not go down the last 4 inches, which is VERY annoying on a truck. You just can't hang your arms out the window with them that high. Next up: Manual to Power steering and fix the AC line I burst last year so I can get the interior cool again.

power window wiring
wolfpackjeeper replied to wolfpackjeeper's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I ride alone almost all the time. The only passengers I have ever had was my dad once and my wife rides with me occasionally. Usually we just take her car. I shall have to figure something out. note: would the momentary push button work? I was thinking about using 2 of them for each window, but with the way the DC motor works forward and reverse I am having trouble getting my head wrapped around how you could have it still be a complete circuit. I will probably just use the double pole double throw rocker type and be done with it. -
now why do you have to have such a bad opinion about those sweet girls at Madam Orr's House? bonus points to whoever can tell me what that references.

power window wiring
wolfpackjeeper replied to wolfpackjeeper's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Ok, I have that diagram somewhere but I could not find it. I started thinking about it, and I am kinda liking the idea of round momentary push button switches. It would take a little more wiring, but it would look pretty cool. Just use the little red or chrome 1/8" buttons. 1 for up and 1 for down on each window. Since I am going for a "stock but different" look for the truck and interior. I just wish I could get a power rear slider too. -
Found a few good power window motors and regulators today so I picked them up. Now, I am planning on mounting the switches on the dash where the rear wiper and trans "power" switch would go If I had those options. My question comes down to two things: Does anyone have a diagram for me to do this? I would assume I need a switch that is grounded, and when thrown one way applies power to raise the window, and when thrown the other way shoots power backwards to lower the window. So that would be a double pole double throw switch? And, do these draw enough power to justify a relay, or will a fused circuit work fine? David

I think the parts might have made it here. The Naxja order made it with the same prices.
-
Never got my parts or a refund. The smallest orders got a refund' date=' the rest got shafted. I assume the parts got sold in mexico since they made it to the port and all. I have not gotten a response to any emails with the "organizing authority" in about 2 months. He does not log in here or naxja anymore.[/quote'] So exactly what happen? I haven't been around much but I remember a lot of people joined the group buy for the 2500 parts and I was looking for some build up threads did everyone get rip off? sounds like they made it to port but got stolen? since we do not know for sure: They made it to his house, then depending on who he told what: 1)the house was siezed 2)the house burned down 3)his wife got a sudden case of bipolar and broke all of them 4)who knows it is the complete and total lack of communication since they made it to port that sketches me out.

It has not done anything for the illicit trade because the very trade is still proscribed. For it to work it would have to be widespread. At least to a state level if not a regional. It would be like prohibition allowing certain places to have alcohol, there would still be usage elsewhere. Modern Example: Dry counties. I have seen a few, and a political boundry does not seem to stop people from drinking when they want to. The consequences just go up.

Legalize it, tax it, and sell it at the ABC store. Set it up like beer and wine where you can produce your own but only up to a certain point, then you pay taxes on it. Regulate it just like Alcohol and any other substance. Establish a limit for driving and enforce it. If I catch an Airman or subordinate high I will tear them apart just like they were drunk on the job. Trying to fight its widespread use is nothing more than pissing in the wind. /doesn't smoke pot, has no desire to spoke pot //underground cigarettes are going to be where the money is in the future...

As much as I hate him and think he was/is $#!&ty for the country and as a person; Teddy went to bat for his state, which is why he kept getting elected. that is crazy though. I bought a cherokee for $200 in college and had to pay $150 in tax title and fees. North Carolina has it setup to where the least you will pay is about $100.
