what do you listen to when your driving/wheeling?
pilotblake replied to STERLING STINGER's topic in The Pub
I am afraid to be driving and listen to anything but what is going on with the truck. If I do have the music on lately it is seethers 2007 album, seems have the right amount of rock and drive. I guess it depends what mood I am in. On the trail it is no music. -

Sorry didn't read through all the posts  Being a beer brewer myself, beer is primarily water. The alcohol does not freeze, but does seperate from the water. In a can it is not such a big deal, but we had a kid in high school die when the party ball they had seperated and he was chugging "beers" from it. Turned out to be pure alcohol. :ack:

I cheated and had somebody else modify there picture to look more like my truck. :dunno:

also the fender line starts slighlty low after the headlights then goes up and back to the cab.

I personally would settle for this. Like the comanche, it takes the private market to make them live forever.

All I remember from "Drivers Education" in high school was that we had a smoking hot french exchange student that was super hot and into me, and I somehow missed the big drive experience at the end of the class and still passed :clapping: I am now 27 happily married but will never forget drivers ed. I learned a few tricks And my driving is ok too

Yes I am, and you made me rewind it back and replay it several times getting as close to the TV as possible  . Stewie walks out, watches a compact drive by. Turns and takes a few more steps then turns around than the comanche rolls on through. No tailgate. Probably easier than trying to blur it out :dunno:

Sorry didn't want to start a new thread. On family guy episode 29 original air date 07/25/00(thank you DVR) at the very end as the credits roll there is a scene that is real life, with stewie(animated) with his thumb out and a black shortbed comanche rolls through with no tailgate. Had the laptop in front of me and had to post it up.

It would have to be my comanche. Don't get me wrong, I love it, but its got some work. First vehicle was a 79 Ford F350. It was a beast, but was a flatbed and could get stuck on flat ground if you mentioned the word ice. Hook it up right it could pull a mountain. Second ride was my 89 cherokee. It is nice, but was abused through my adolescence, also worked great out in the woods with the seats down if you know what I mean. Still have the jeep and it still is mechanically sound, even surviving through college. I am now thankfully an owner of dependable vehicles, so the comanche gets to be a dedicated play toy. Drove a little ugly 80's era corolla with a trunk full of subwoofers at one point also.

Also in your signature or whatever the deal is called below all your posts, you need to fix your quote regarding the snow and the road and digging and what not(I can't now remember what it was). I don't mind grammatical errors when it is once and awhile but this is on all your posts. edit: It is the first "it's", you forgot the " 's " :chillin:

I pay $30/yr for my local marine society i.e. saltwater/reef tank membership. Granted that is local with the perks involved with that, but I still use the website/forum the same. I would be willing to pitch in. I have definitly taken alot from this site.

Painting Roll-Bar - Bed-liner?
pilotblake replied to SuperWade2's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have it on my rollbar and bumpers. I keep a can with me in the toolbox too. It dries fast enough that if i get a heavy scrape on the trail, I can touch it up on the spot, weather permitting. -
I got... New "last minute" replacement motor mounts for my truck. Sears gift cards cash new Hi-lift jack to replace the borrowed one bottle of Crown and a bottle of Pendleton misc. Jeep & aviation clothes mini r/c helicopter And the wife and i like to do our shopping after the holidays. The deals on electronics are incredible and we are looking to get a bigger TV for the basement.

Our roads looked like that for the last snow. We are in the beginning of getting 12"-14" of snow after raining all evening yesterday. This is not a guage of the depth of the snow at the time of this post, but more so my lazyness in preheating the vehicle. This is normally part of the yard and is right outside the house door. What can you do. I will get some pics of manche out playing in the snow tomorrow. This from the last snow that I also finished off a motor mount, now since fixed and back in order. Goes good until it gets up to the hood.
