Pulled a j-10 out of a barn, spun it around and pushed it back into the barn( with manche), for a friend who didn't want the vehicle nose in but the steering wheel is locked and he can't find the key  Would have been more work then it was worth if it didn't give me a chance to drag something around. :clapping:

If I understand the question, it will stiffen up your suspension but not change ride height on a SUA (spring under axle) On a SOA(spring over axle) it will stiffen as well as add lift to the truck. Also you will lose or lessen some articulation, but improve the negative effects of axle wrap.

I think it was stupidity on my part not product failure. It looks like maybe the clip came out and the JKS came off the lower pin and got pinched between? something. I am actually surprised the front end is still attached to the truck. We were doing some pretty stupid stuff last weekend  I am normally over cautious with my stuff, but what can you do :fool:

Anyone have one laying around for some reason. I am not exactly sure how I did it but I managed to crush one end of the disconnect almost flat  . I have my shocks turned up as stiff as they will go and it helps but I need to find a replacement.

Lower control arm alignment shoe

  -
A classmate of mine is now a state patrol man and on the SWAT team. He brought out his issued and decked out M4 rifle. It is semi or fully automatic. It was a blast to shoot and my first experience with a fully automatic rifle. It is amaizing how it will push you backwards if you are not braced for it. Downsides.............sore fingers from reloading the clips for the mere seconds they last.

Them be the ones. Did you get them for a jeep dealership? -
What it implies, it changes the shift points for the transmission, my 89 XJ has it.

CW if the world ever looks like it is coming to an end I am coming to your place. Should be able to hold up in their for awhile it looks like. I have a Savage 12 guage, a .22 rifle and for the hell of it an SKS updated for safety issues and a composite stock to keep the flicker tail (ground squirrels) under control here at the airport.

Is there somewhere online that sells the alignment shoe deal that fits in the lower control arm pocket and fixes the one side of the control arm in place. It has the two bolts that bolt to the back of the control arm pocket.

EXO cage tree protection...
pilotblake replied to CWLONGSHOT's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
This picture is horribly small and I can't find anymore pictures of it, but I like the idea of protecting the cab and the bed more so than the front end. The front end stuff is easier to come by, plus I don't think it will look as bulky. My next project is rock sliders, so the plan is to have them stick out enough to tie the cage into and also then build my rear bumper to wrap around and tie the back of the cage in. http://www.jeep-comanche.com/images/jeep-comanche4.jpg -
Installed the GM rear view mirror with the vanity lights. Probably the easiest, best thing I have done. Went two years with no interior lights, now i have floor lights rear view mirror lights, next is the led upgrade for the pillar lights.

After responding to a different post I got to thinking about it and didn't want to hijack that post. If my truck has a 700R4 with a 205 or 207 right now for the life of me I can't remember which and 3.73 gears, how do I figure out what the appropriate speedo gear is needed to get my MPH back to the right speed. Right now 45 seems to be about 60 by GPS. What more info is needed?
-
Damn yet another thing that I didn't know existed but feel compelled to find and buy. I guess I never really paid attention to the MPH since 45 is my new 60 give or take with my tires, trans/t-case, axle combo. :fs1:

:agree: I wouldn't change my truck for the world, but at the same time I would probably go the stroker route for the next jeep.

I have an old (classic) Warn/Bellevue winch and was curious if there was any secrets or tested products to get the aluminum shined back up. If all else fails rustoleum does make a decent aluminum paint that doesn't look to gaudy. Having said that I would like to just get the original metal cleaned up. Anybody have any ideas?

Yeah it says they were called the flightline.
