  1. Highest Zip line in North America, or so we think.
  2. No not out of line, I would be curious as well. The total investment in the van is $3500. A cheap apartment in the part of town where stabbings and gang shootings are a regular occurance would be about $1100 a month. Plus living in the van would be way nicer than the apartment. Bed is a double(weekenders have queen size), has a stove, fridge, and sink/urinal. Gets his own space and gets to go where he wants when he wants. We should all be so lucky to live in a mobile terrarium.
  3. Bad things better only happen in threes. Got home yesterday, found a dead chicken, it was my favorite Arucana. Dammit. Cleaning the kitchen today, rinse out sink.....water draining slow, need to run garbage disposal. Flick switch nothing. Garbage disposal bad. Heating up some dinner tonight roommate enters "the washer did that thing where theres water on the floor" Go downstairs, washer drain is apparently clogged and massive amounts of nasty washer drain water has flooded into the basement. Got the floor cleaned up and bleach applied, turned the dryer on(to blow some hot air out to help dry it) and put a fan on. Said phuck it and ate my dinner, I'll deal with it tomorrow. Just dammit. Oh and my still fell over in the garage dumping cooling water into a tool bucket making for some nice rusty tools.
  4. No, my dad needed his home back in socal.
  5. Neither, the gold syncro in the background will be the expedition rig, this is primarily the van my dad lives in out in socal.
  6. Same here Sam. The 2500 junk could look good on an MJ, but only if you used one of your chickens for a hood ornament. You keep talking that way and you'll find one defacing your Jeep one morning. Oh and a 2WD front beam and a Peugeot transmission installed. Maybe mated to a 2.8 v6 somehow.
  7. Thank gawd your doing this when no one is online.
  8. Yes.

  10. I gotta say, weather I like it or not, obviously the owner does like it. And since its his truck he is doing what he likes with it. Not everyone make like the 2500 front end, but I do, and frankly I don't give a damm if you don't.
  11. Most of the orange peel texture is caused by paint drying to quickly, this is a big problem in the summer. Humidity also impairs the atomizaiton of the paint, which will lead to a less than smooth spray. The quality of the paint is also a big factor, higher quality paints will often spray better. Generally speaking though it seems that clear coats spray better and gloss much nicer. There is almost no way to buff down a single stage paint like you can get with a clear coat.
  12. Been working on painting the 91, had a fair amount of body work to do before paint, did that, then sprayed with high fill, sanded down to cover minor imperfections etc. Finally got to spray some paint last weekend, got the front and back painted, and the drivers side. Theres a pretty good amount of body damage on the right side where the slider door meets the 1/4 panel thats going to be a pretty large amount of work. Will also be replacing the sliding door at that time: You can kinda see the damage on the drivers side here(below the slider), it was over a large area, and while its not perfect now, its much better than it was: Overall I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out, this is about as good as you can get with a single stage paint. I wasn't going for perfect just better. The imperfections get hidden by the bright white(this is a pure white, with no pigment added) if there were a darker color being sprayed generally a clear coat is the only way to go. You can really tell how creamy the old paint was compared to the bright white. While it was out I tinted the rear window with limo tint, I just love the contrast of bright white with dark windows. All the tupperware lower body molding has been repainted in flat black along with the bumpers. Should be nice looking when its finally all done. Anyone need anything painted pure white? I'm going to have half a gallon or so left over.
  13. According to the plate it is from France. (I decided to avoid the durr and sarcasm here because lets face it, we aren't exactly all experts on european license plates)
  14. Sam, where did you pick up the export tails from. I like the looks of them I got them from Japan. I have a contact in the UK that sells parts that could sell you some.
  15. I'm in fort collins, but have no spare time over the next few days. I'm still in the process of being selected for a Jury, and there's not really any end in sight.
  16. Ya and the one blob of oil and dirty is the bellhousing, and the other blob is the engine. Yup, pretty obvious that they are at least loose, I never got back enough back to see if they were missing.
  17. one more for the record:
  18. Propane has a far amount more BTU's in it, thats why.
  19. Ya, and then after a year it has to be destroyed.
  20. Keystone had the export lights? Hm, never heard that before.
  21. The Jeep 2500 lights are also an option:(cough I have some for sale cough)
  22. I have export tails on mine:
  23. LOL, just about!
  24. Decided to pop my head underneath and see if I could figure out if it was an issue with my slave or linkage or lines or whatever. Noticed something right off the bat, transmission and engine are articulating at the mating line of the engine and trans when the clutch is depressed. So I figured, I gotta get a video of this, it may be greasy, and it may be hard to see, but the gap you see moving there is the engine and transmission moving closer and further apart, they should be firmly bolted together.
