  1. If you can weld or know somebody, you can do a spring-over-axle conversion in the rear and then the front would be the same as an XJ.
  2. I'd be scared of that nut missing... Not likely the steering wheel could just pull off, but over time, it's possible and that would be horrible if you were in the middle of driving haha.
  3. Vacuum lines incorrectly hooked up?
  4. That I'm not sure on. I'm surprised it doesn't have the correct end. There's only two styles of speedo cables that I know of... '84 - '86 and the '87 - '90. The one you have pictured doesn't look like either that I've seen... Where did you get the replacement cable?
  5. You're correct in assuming that that is the cruise control speed sensor. Not sure you can adapt the non CC speedo cable to make it work with the sensor.
  6. Do you have a setting for intermittent wiper? If so, the module underneath the dash may have just coincidentally took a dump. Best way to tell is unplug both ends and mate each plug together. You'll only have low and high settings in this case, but it should work if that's the problem.
  7. Ok, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up.
  8. Can someone explain to me what the difference is between a longblock and a shortblock, or are the terms used interchangeably to describe the same thing? I've seen both terms used and I don't understand. I thought a 4.0 was a 4.0.
  9. Yea, when I bought mine, the PO had a drop in liner in it. It had enough pine straw and dirt underneath to put a small forest to shame... I swept and hosed it all out and dropped it back in. Probably a good idea to do that once a year at least...
  10. I just learned something new... never knew that.
  11. *sigh*.... Yet ANOTHER upside down grille... And what the hell is up with those heater hoses? lol I'm not a fan of the tool box bumper... Seems too bulky and doesn't really fit the lines of the truck.
  12. http://comancheclub.com/topic/38390-new-shocks-monroe-sensa-track-load-levelers/?p=386345 The part number is 58497.
  13. Awesome that makes it a ton easier... Time for a junkyard run when the weather permits.
  14. Other than Neons, what other Dodge vehicles (and from what years) can the 703 fuel injectors be found in? Going to be doing an "upgrade" on my Renix MJ.
  15. Awesome!! Glad to hear from someone who's tried it. I'm probably going to get another kit for my MJ soon. Thanks again!
  16. Put a fat chick in the back... there, I said it before Jim haha. :rotf:
  17. Well, I ordered it. Going to give it a try.
  18. Ok, I test fitted it. The shift indicator fits as it should. I also verified the green LEDs work. The console is a little dirty, but if you'd like, I can clean it up before I ship it out. I'll ship it next week since the talk of snow has everyone here in mid-east NC freaking out. Let me know what you think and I'll PM you my PayPal info. Thanks.
  19. Ok, I can do that for you. If not, do you still want the mini console?
  20. This. You're better off doing the water trick. Water sinks to the bottom and the fuel pump will suck it up first.
  21. I have a tan one from my '86 MJ. I also have a AW4 shift indicator with custom green LED backlight. I'd sell you the whole thing for $35 + shipping.
