All gauge clusters I have seen without tach have had white markings ticked ever 1mph and blue km/h on the speedometer. All gauge clusters with tach I have seen have had white markings on the speedometer ticked every 2.5mph with km/h in red. This includes both Renix (-1990) and CHyrsler/HO (1991-). That doesn't mean other don't exist, I have just not seen them out of 20+ I have looked at in junk yards.

I just ran one bolt through (closest to battery) using a nut as a spacer to line up the pulley, then made two brackets out of a piece of 16 gauge sheet metal for the bolt closest to the water pump. One bent in a Z kind of to go from the front of that bolt to the front of the alternator, and a straight one to go from the back of that bolt to the back of the alternator. This is on a Renix, where the idler pulley bolts on using two bolts running front to back. If the bolts run up and down it will not work like that.

XJ spring plates do not have a stud for the shocks. They have a shock mount welded directly to the axle.

Ummm, my Dana 35 does NOT have C-clips. Care to rephrase that statement? Also, the problem with C clips is not that they are weaker, it is that IF you break an axle, there's nothing holding the end with the wheel on it onto the truck.

Anything can fit on anything. It all matters on how much modding you want to do. But it will not just bolt up without major modifications.
