I don't vote, therefore I have no right to whine, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
But my situation is different from most:
1 - I am not allowed to vote. Part of gaining the right to vote is to give up my Dutch nationality. That is not likely to ever happen.
2 - I am not allowed to "get out". I'm a divorced father with joint custody. Even if I were willing to leave my kids behind, my ex-wife and I are forbidden by law to move more than 25 miles away from each other without the other person's written/signed/notarized permission, more than 100 miles required a judge's permission as well, and out of state is "NO", period.
Do not get divorced when you have kids under the age of 18. You have no rights whatsoever if you do.
