  1. haha, true enough. i mean there's a huge difference between 19 and 13 mpg....which one will be more towards 19 or 20 when properly tuned? well in my 91 i can get about 400 miles a tank on premium gas. I'm not sure what tank i have or anything else. and yes it costs money but for fewer fill-ups i don't really care. once when i over filled it i got 425 miles. Alex
  2. AEV (the people that make the Brutes) are working on a JK version right now. and that one in that pic is pretty cool but its not as functional as a real bed. and i don't like it that much and would never buy that thing. give me the gladiator concept any day. Alex

    JP Comanche

let us all know when that one comes out. Alex
  4. i am about the only true jeeper in my town. the rest of the jeeps in town are people that seem to always have a cell phone on their ear or not really paying attention to their surroundings. there are a few MJs but most are so crappy looking and beat down and driven by really old guys that go like 20mph no matter the speed limit. there is one all stock black MJ with white sport-truck decals with a factory roll bar that is not in bad shape. and there is some chick in town with a black MJ and white tailgate decals. but every time i pass the sport-truck, we are both like trying to get a closer look at each other MJ. one of these days i will have to follow him. Alex
  5. I just got done putting the XJ OHC up. but since i don't have the temp sensor or the mounting brackets i used a cheap senor for now and duct tape. also since i do not have my headliner up yet it is pulled up and not in the right place. if you want to see pics then look in my 91 eliminator project topic. they are not up yet but once i get a workin camera later today i will post some. Alex
  6. I just got done putting the XJ OHC and lighted mirrors up. but since i don't have the temp sensor or the mounting brackets i used a cheap senor for now and duct tape. also since i do not have my headliner up yet it is pulled up and not in the right place. it works great and does everything but dims, it got so dim you could hardly see it. Alex
  7. well i went and looked at the posts i knew of that showed them and everyone has removed those pics from their hosting sites. here is the only one i could find with any help at all left. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1988&highlight= there are those four in the green there and then there are two in the very rear on each rail and there are two on the "X" of the frame on the upper half of it. Alex
  8. well since I'm sure not too many of us want to see what those things say for our mileage, temp and compass is just fine. Alex
  9. don't those ones also do mileage and stuff or just the newer styles? Alex
  10. actually a friend of mine is a mechanic and he says in order for the K&Ns to filter better then the paper ones, don't clean em as often as they say to. he said if they are REALLY dirty clean em, but unless you are driving through dust storms and stuff all the time then don't. he says that at his school, the tests they ran on filters to see what worked the best, the K&Ns work best when they are dirty. don't ask me why but that is what their tests came up with. Alex
  11. speakin of topics that could get heated.... I'm followin Mitch.  Alex
  12. that looks exactly like the one in my K-10. you could look at those in JYs and see if one of those clips would work. Alex
  13. right here is exactly what i have. http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=rustys&Product_Code=XJAT-1&Category_Code=PER_AIR http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=rustys&Product_Code=RE0810&Category_Code=PER_AIR it went on easy enough and fits well. only thing is, it doesn't have a separator behind the filter. i am going to make one for mine here this summer out of some aluminum sheet metal and then heat shield stuff. and here is a pic of mine. Alex
  14. Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found and man do i wish i could have that jeep. and the extra parts to put onto my mj. Alex
  15. on my 91 i have a K&N cone plus an Air-Raid tube. that might be an option. Alex
  16. i have a MJ parts list from the factory and i see no 4pc option. so according to the factory parts list, the 4pc windows are aftermarket. Alex
  17. i think he meant PB Blaster. it is a really good rust breaker for stuff like this. the more it soaks the better it does. Alex
  18. here is the PO that i bought it off of, Rob in IL. he never gets on here anymore. he also gave me all his jeep parts with the truck and i have been trying to sell em all since then. http://www.comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1654&highlight=eliminator+sale Alex
  19. sounds good. figure how much u want for that and take it off the total. my 91 is actually like 3 trucks in one. the cab, the doors/hood, and the bed. the bed is in bad shape by what i want to see anyways, if it was a trail rig it would be great. but I'm going for car shows here since it already took 2nd place in one. and this thing has been all over the US now. it was in FL, then AZ, the IL, and now OH. and i hope to move to CO or somewhere with less salt some day. this thing even had beach sand on the spare tire when Rob (the PO) took it down, and it still has baked on desert sand on the underside of the hood. Alex
  20. cool because that is smashed a bit on mine as well, most the way up actually. Alex
  21. alright will do. maybe if their price is write i will just buy me a new long bed body and stick my eliminator guts in it. i can dream can't i? lol. well i am in no big rush on the parts so whenever you get the chance just let me know what i owe ya if you find them. Alex
  22. would that take care of my dent i have? there are pics in my project topic. Alex
  23. thanks. i am sure that will come in handy. i am in need of a new bed and drivers side cab corner bad. and being in ohio the bed will be gone in 2 years if i don't do something. Alex
  24. i wish i was that lucky. there is one yard near me with like 3 MJs but most parts are gone. the other don't even know what i am talking about most the time. and XJs get striped fast here also. Alex
  25. if there is could ya also grab the sensor half of the setup, wiring and all? then just let me know what i owe ya. just as a heads up - there are two brackets, and to put these in the MJs all you need is the front bracket. Thanks, Alex
