i was tryin to be nice and help ya out there with the 2.5 vs HO thing there but you had to ruin it. lol. and once you do that i might have to stop braggin cuz I'm sure you could beat me then. although i hope pat doesnt see this because his 3800 mj could beat me i bet. Alex

well that was better then i could do. i bet you fix that vac leak and you might be able to give me a run for my money. Alex

that was the one thing i could over take on the highway with my 86. anything was too fast. and ppl hated it when i would pass a semi and take up the fast lane. Alex

not to umm jack the thread or anything, but i see you are also looking for a 60s gladiator. I'm looking for the tremors truck. i know where 2 70s ones are if anyone wants that kind. one is 500 bucks but really rusty and has been sittin for awhile. Alex

you know, i was going to say a blowup doll also. but wanted to see if anyone else was thinking it. or a dirty book collection with girls and there jeeps... all muddy. get it? dirty, muddy... man i crack myself up. lol. Alex

"Zero to 60 in 24 seconds." man you are slow. mine is like 5 seconds. than again I'm heavy on the gas when i have the space. sure does kill the vents and pushes you back into your seat when i step on it to turn onto state route 98 between marion and bucyrus. plus the tires squeal a bit too. lol. just felt like raggin on ya in the pub rather then PM so others can get in on the MJ races. start your engines everyone and break out the watches!! Alex

side dent trim? seat belts? dash face? dash? grille guard? i am running out of things that fit in those boxes! lol. Alex

eh, i tried. and as for parts fallin off mine, its mainly rust (or mud). although, when i got my 86 and was taking it to get plates and stuff for the first time, i had some fancy car following me too close. i was driving along at about 55mph and my front inner fender fell off. i thought my tailgate did because of the noise and thumps it made. but lets say he backed off. lol. Alex

skid plate, bed cover, tube bumper, light bar, front winch bumper, moon visor thingy, sun roof, paint cleaning and protecting kit, all the parts that have fallen off my mjs over the years? sorry just throwing out almost every option there was. lol. Alex

i bet its the vent windows. i have two of those myself, new and in the factory boxes. if I'm right do i get em to add to my factory box/parts collection? AMC vent windows and Chrysler fog lights, both factory and in their boxes. Alex

man you are lucky, cuz that thing was way louder then i wanted it to be. if i kept it i would have taken them out and just put pipe in where the packs were at. have no cats, mufflers, anything. Alex

for all my badges i use the 3M 1/2" wide automotive tape that is made for badges and stuff. works great. just make sure you have a nice clean smooth surface to stick it on and it won't come off. i have even been over 90mph with my 91 and all my badges are still there. autozone and places like that also sells a "glue" for molding and trim that will work, i use it on the side trim and it holds up well. So what is your opinion on the War, Bush, and everything?

i also hate how in order for me to move west and get a job i should know Spanish. my dad applied for a job in AZ and the only reason he didn't get it was because he didn't know Spanish. this is America, we speak English here. you come here, you learn it. and you should have to come here legally or get shot. no other way around it. I'm going for Edwards because Hillary isnt going to make it and Obama (spl?) is a freakin liar and is just another stupid republican claiming to be a dem and he is one of bushs lackies. i am so sick of bush and the US though that it isnt funny. we claim to be the land of the free but yet we have been losing more freedoms (mainly stupid $#!& too that the gov has no right to stick their noses into) then you can shake a stick at. and ahead of time, if none of this makes sense it is because it is almost 3AM here. i will fix it later if its that bad once i read it when i am awake. i love my flowmaster 40 series on my 91. it sounds great. its not too loud, the only time its really loud is when you gun it and then it quiets down and sounds great when running at a steady pace or idling. my 88 had one too. these will be the only things i put on mine from now on. they sound better then my K-10 with dual straight pipes sounds. not sure if you would be interested, but i have a 95 HO engine for sale. only has about 50k on it. there is a pic or two of it in my FS topic (Lots of parts FS in Ohio). not sure which page the pics are on, i think 2 or 3 IIRC. Alex

figured since the brochure i am looking at right now for the 63 gladiators shows it like that. Alex

i will be upgrading to discs in the front (and rear if i can). and i will upgrade the engine to a 401 or 360 unless the one i find already has one of those in it in good running order. but i won't settle for one unless its 60s or 70s with the thriftside bed. do you know when they stopped offering the small rear window? and which was more common do you think with this bed? Alex

nope, can't get 100 watters anywhere around here. i don't know where the PO of the bar found em, but being in chicago had to help. i went ahead and fixed the one bulb that was messed up and put it back in along with the other one, now they both work. so i now have 100w bulbs back in and the 55w bulbs are sitting as spares for when the 100s blow. now all that is really left to do to this thing is fix the dent, repaint it, put the compass/temp gauge in along with a headliner, and get the rear bumper on once it gets here. it could use a few other little things but nothing that really matters. Alex

got my fog and flood lights finished up the other day. had a blown flood light so i needed a new bulb, but ended up having to buy two because the bulbs that were in them were 100w and all i could get were 55w bulbs. the only thing that isnt right is that i can't get the light in the factory fog switch to work right, i also need to find a factory switch for my floods. i made it so both sets can be turned on whenever i want, rather then the fogs going off with brights and stuff. but for my first time running wire, i think i did pretty good. well i put the parts of the 86 grille on the 91 the other day. here is how they turned out. as you can see, i don't have the trim parts that go around the headlight doors. once i get around to going to the junkyard i will grab those parts. i forgot the grilles were like 7 not 5 parts. as for the swap, it went easy. had to drill a few holes to make the top and bottom trim go on but that is it. but i think the headlight doors will be temps till i get some 91 style ones, then i will mod the top and bottom trim to fit in with the trim around the headlight doors. and in these pics the top and bottom trim is not on, will get some pics with that to replace these soon. when i did the grille swap i also found out what was wrong with my vents not blowing out of any but the def vents. i took the bumper off and my vac can was busted. so i fixed it and now everything but my cruise control works, but i don't care about that for now. i will get some pics up soon of what i am doing right now. the fog lights and flood lights in these pics do not work because they are either not hooked up and wired or there is a short in the wiring. so i am going to rewire both sets of lights and make them so i can turn them on whenever i want. i already hooked the flood lights up and they work, so now i just need to hook up the fog lights. and on a side note, i finally got that optima yellow top i have been wanting. when i took my old battery out to run the wires for the flood lights and put new battery terminals on the wires i found out it was leaking. and who likes my new 31" dayton timberline a/t tires? man are these things great, too bad i was told they are discontinuing them. so i guess i will need to find another cheap but good all-around tire once these wear out. Alex

heck i painted my 88 and my 86, and if joe ever gets on here and sees this he can vouch for how well i painted the 86. i even made the tailgate J e e p, wheels, and side vents metallic that could really only be seen in the right light when clean. i got taught by a friends of mine that does body work. i don't use bondo though, i use only por-15 products. my 91 has macco and it sucks. orange peel along the bottom as "chip guard", run, and flaking off in spots. i think once i get the coins i will be doing a real paint job on it like i did with the 86 only with clear coat also this time. heck if there were enough people around me that wanted theirs painted, i would be willing to do it to make some cash on the side and not take your arm and leg to do it. the one is the 2nd film is actually like 2 or 3 junkyard trucks fixed up and made to run since they could not find the one from the first movie. they all look as close as they could make em look to the one in the first movie. if you watch close you can tell differences. i own the "attack pack" which has all 4 movies. don't ever watch the 4th one and the 3rd isnt much better. the 1st and 2nd are still the best but the first is the one that we all remember. Alex
