  1. Something like this work? $40 shipped... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Tru ... .m14.l1318
  2. "In the Archives" and "Not Currently on display"... more than certainly means NO WAY IN HELL are we going to get any pictures of it... SW2
  3. ... and 4th, I've heard rumors that greasable 2" drops (for 88-98 ) could be had online for $30-$40, but haven't been able to find them any cheaper than $50-$60 shipped... I think the 2" drop give 1-1.5" lift on the MJ's depending on how much "sag" your stock leafs have... But I'm interesting in know for sure as well...
  4. I'm not sure that thing is working right...Ive added myself twice now and I don't see me again... Maybe need start a new one...maybe a CC specific one... SW2

My Dream "rides". OK, this one would be "dreamier" with Dynatrac ProRock 60's Front and Rear, 35 or 37" Tires and a few other small things...Maybe a HEMI Likewise, this one would include 31" tires, a 3-3.5" Lift, a 4.7L Stroker, Front/Rear Lockers with Deeper Gears (Axles swapped from my TJ maybe) and some other things...
  7. Yeah, why not #2. I'd be interested if this thing is finally going to change hands.......... Heck if it were close enough, i'd like to drive up over the hill to see what the "finest Comanche in the country" actually looks like... :brows:
  8. Is there anyone on this Forum that has installed the Motion Offroad 3" MJ Lift? I know one guy bought one, but didn't see an install thread yet...Just curious...seems there would be more action on this on heavy MJ board...especially since there are so few "full" kits that as inclusive as the MO kit without having piece and part together a XJ front and rear leafs from someone else (which seem to be the other alternative on the radar) I'd be interested in talking to folks who are actually using the product before I make up my mind on what to buy...
  9. Well, I was off - but not by much. I think this sale might be legit this time. The Winning bidder is also a seller of some stuff from up here in Cupertino, CA, about 45 minutes north of here... Maybe I'll email the guy and ask if he really won it... SW2
  10. Ah heck, that's what credit is for... even in High School I was getting Credit Card deals all the time (Worked full time from Age 15 on)... It's the American Way... You can't take the money with you when you die, so enjoy it while your here... :USAflag:
  11. It's only worth what someone is willing to pay...I agree and have a feeling that there will be some mysterious sale issue and the $4650 bid won't be a "winning" bid resulting in a sales transaction... Wade
  12. Thanks Eagle, "We", is me and co-workers...we have about 400 sales folks from around the world, and more directly 'we" is going and me, a gal from my office (good friend) and an Engineer from Colo (also a good guy who I helped support other meetings, including New Zealand a few years ago) will be out supporting the IT side of the meeting... No Significant others, no kids... As far as seafood, I'm a meat and potatoes Nebraska Kid (regardless of where I was born)... if it swims, or lives in the water, I DON'T eat it, period... well I can eat some shrimp if it's so ridiculously spicy with Cajun seasoning, but that's about it...(which is near blasphemy since I live less than 10 minutes from the Pacific ocean)...
  13. Which in my humble opinion is about what it's worth...at least if it were my $$$ on this line that is... Sw2
  14. Welcome... Your rear is "probably" one of these (Could be a AMC20, looks like a Baseketball, if you have the Metric Ton package on your '86)... And yours being an 86, if it's the D35, and original will be the Non-C Clip variety but the housing will look the same)... Front is a Dana30 *unless it's been swapped, which is doubtful Here a good bit of general stuff (much of which Pete from here helped to compile I think). http://www.jeepforum.com/wiki/index.php/MJ_Comanche
  15. Was born in Charleston, but only lived there a year or so (Dad was Navy).. Moved to Newport, Rhode Inland for about 3 years and then back to Lincoln, Nebraska until I was 24 and the grew up, got married and moved out to Cali, about 10 years ago.
  16. HEMI? Is that an Acronym... anything less will be a let down... three letters Am I'm getting Close...LS1, LS2? who said anything about motors? remember, there's a huge friggin dent in the side of the truck... :brows:  I've heard you have a propensity to drop "non-standard" motors into Jeeps (at least one)... That would be more exciting to me than anything I could do the the body of my truck... I guess I'm weird that way...
  17. HEMI? Is that an Acronym... anything less will be a let down... three letters Am I'm getting Close...LS1, LS2? I'm bored as hell and getting paid an obscene amount of $$$ I can guess all day...

  19. I'm going next month for work for a week and just wanted any opinions on stuff I shouldn't miss...Restaurants, Sights, etc, etc. I've never really been 'Back East' (although I was born in South Carolina, and lived in Rhode Island, but don't' really remember them at all). We are staying in the Back Bay neighborhood (Westin Copley Plaza)... I have a few work outings planned throughout the week already, and won't have a car, so I don't expect to make it out of the City... Working mostly during the day but have some free time and a few free evenings. Already have Tickets to a Ball Game @ Fenway on Friday night, but looking for suggestions on other stuff. Thanks Wade
  20. My guess is there was a White MJ that someone bought new off the Lot in 1992, drove directly into a Temperature and Humidity controlled Barn up in Cheese Country (with about 5 mile on the ticker). Hermetically and Vacuum sealed for freshness, Pat discovered and purchased the truck for whatever change was rolling around in his Ashtray and is getting ready to crack the "seal" and inhale that 16 year old, but good as the day it was new fresh new car smell... The excitement is getting the better of him, thus the Giddy Pre-Teen Girlish antics.. :D
  21. Damn... have a ComancheClub Garage sale and blow some of that stuff out there...
  22. Take the trailer and get the whole setup... I mean if your spending the $$$ on gas to get down there anyhow and already getting a good deal, I would just pick it all up. Heck you could probably sell the AW4/231 if they are not blown and pay for the engine, gas and stuff you'll need to get it running strong again.
  23. NICE RACK!!! I just wanted to be the first to say it.... welcome! (but since your related to Pat, your already part of the "family")
