  1. Still looking...
  2. Another Instagram find - @cheddajack415
  3. A little bored rabbit hole searching led me to this guy @calaverasbear on Instagram. I don't have an account there - maybe one of you who does, send him an invite to CC? He's got more pics on his page there...
  4. Match holder for manually lighting.
  5. John Deere Blitz Black. Seriously. Comes in rattle cans too.
  6. They sure are fun...
  7. I vote water bottle.
  8. I'm still willing to ship. And noticed this last night. These bad boys must be ULTRA rare!
  9. If you loosen that same nut to relieve tension on the cables, the opposite end (wheel end) can be removed in the same way. You will have to pull the drum off.
  10. Parking brake disconnect - Loosen the nut until the 2 cables can be slipped out of the equalizer bracket. if the cables need to be removed, depress the tabs at the end of the cable housing where they hold it into the cable bracket. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they want you to disconnect the parking brake cables though. (Pic stolen from another user's thread and edited for illustration.)
  11. Bumperettes - that's what I've always called them - the black rectangular plastic extensions on the face of the bumper. This guard was originally mounted using them to space it out, away from the grille allowing the forward most hole to line up with the bumper itself. I totally follow what you're saying, and no doubt, it'd be stronger that way, but that style bracket doesn't seem to be completely necessary.
  12. The Cherokee this one came off of didn't have the tow hook brackets. Just the bumperettes to space it out.
  13. Revised above post. I would guess with packing and hardware 35lbs.
  14. 30.4 lbs according to my bathroom scale. This one looks like it was specifically to be used with bumperettes or hidden winch setup? Seems like without one or the other, the lower mounts would be too far back...
  15. Amc brush guard is approximately 60x23x11 without the bumper. The cross bar below the license bracket shows the worst rust.
  16. I have a #1 and a #3 with the headlight hoops. My #3 is missing the lower large tube. I had planned to fab up a new piece for it, shouldn't be too difficult. #3 would be easiest/cheapest to ship since it all bolts together. Both are 30+ years old and could use stripped/re-painted... #1 $150 plus shipping #3 $50 plus shipping Will try to get pics tonight.
  17. I'm fairly certain the military wrap end goes toward the front. That's how I mounted mine anyways... I imagine the front (potentially) turning into a pole vault when it breaks, therefore more logical to reinforce that end than the rear.
  18. I'm curious what this is... "Dealer/shop diagnostic computer for checking systems, ECU/PCM/TCM"
  19. Leatherman.

That Procharger cost more than most of our whole trucks!
  21. My first "new-ish" ride. 2014 Silverado. Love this thing.
  22. I've noticed that too. And with all of my free time I can finally research these trivial ponderings... According to a comment on houzz.com: "Nickel (and then later chrome) were used in bathrooms pre-ventilation, because it does not have to be polished like brass to keep a shine and it does not oxidize. Nickel could be wiped off with ammonia if necessary and chrome is even less maintenance. Brass without the lacquer would tarnish and then the tarnish would rub off on towels and such."
  23. PG-13 (language) Keep it muted if at work...
  24. Here's a factory 97+...
  25. I think the slight angle of the photo makes it look worse than it is, but you are correct, the bushings are not perfectly centered. I also have a press so am not too concerned about it.
